  1. Stan Lee Claims Elder Abuse, Seeks Restraining Order Against Biz Manager As LAPD Investigates After expressing nothing but support for Keya Morgan as recently as last week, Stan Lee is now taking his embattled business manager to court with claims of elder abuse. https://deadline.com/2018/06/stan-lee-restraining-order-elder-abuse-claims-business-manager-marvel-1202409929/

  3. Exactly. Shouldn't a seller be protected by the platform they are paying for?
  4. Why would I contact them? I'm not the one who made the statement.
  5. Do you ever look at your Activity Log? It shows the huge problem with the bay. Buyers have a 100% feedback score, yet my settings don't allow them to bid because they have had too many unpaid item strikes. But on the surface they look fine.
  6. The True Exclusive Seal means just that! A product sold EXCLUSIVELY on this store and nowhere else. Our comics sold by other retailers are considered aftermarket, just like eBay. Some of our competitors wholesale and share their “exclusives” with several other retailers, making it no longer a TRUE exclusive. We do not wholesale comics. It’s our belief that this practice drives down pricing and ultimately devalues the book, diminishing its long-term market value. Protect your investment: buy TRUE Exclusives!
  7. Not yet they aren't. He has been have backstock sales every 3-4 months where more of lower print run ones "appear".
  8. It's funny that you are so hard to come down on Comichron numbers, yet you make claims that there is no way to backup, ever. It was optioned before it was released. It was the next Walking Dead.
  9. That's ridiculous. Let us know how the case turns out.
  10. Such as? The biggest books I own might be from raffles. But I wouldn't admit that of course.
  11. Wow, I hope they had a lot of followers. Only reason that would make an ounce of sense would be to build their brand up for future blind auctions. The 181 will sell for that or higher if graded at 6.5.
  12. IG is good, but the real money is in live raffles on FB. IF you can get the watchers. These guys are pretty good. They have about 40-50 people watching. Check out some of the prices they get and they typically don't state a grade. Part I Minute 13:45, BIN of Superman #500 for $10. Minute 2 hr. 10 min., blind auction $1,650 - look at this lot and tell me you would pay this at a show. Part II Minute 25, blind auction $600 for Mister Miracle 1-18 with (2) #1s Minute 41 question "What is the grade of the books?" "Oh, their all like super sweet conditi"
  13. You should probably put that in spoiler tags for those that have not read everything yet. Why is 795 a cameo? He says "We are Carnage!". Origin and first appearance.
  14. Why is Spider-Man blacked out? Loses a lot of the appeal.
  15. Yup, also Doc. Oct. marriage to Aunt May.
  16. The variant market has created this current situation that people feel they need to be keys to purchase them. I never said their shouldn't be variants. I object to needing 100+ variants for Star Wars #1, 50 for ASM #800 and Batman #50, etc... That is not sustainable for comic books in general. Thanks for the tip on Moderns. I seem to be doing just fine with them though.
  17. Yes, I see long boxes of "spice" at every show I go to for pennies on the dollar.
  18. Yes, yes it is. Ever heard of the statement quality not quantity?
  19. Boy, not sure what you are not understanding here. You should probably look up some information on brand management.
  20. All part of protecting your brand. It's not one single thing that Marvel has done.
