    That doesn't really make sense considering ASM Annual #21 came out in June 1987 and #300 came out in Jan. 1988. From what I have heard Annual #21 was a big hit because of it.

    Yes, the problem is that you get a lot of unwanted emails as well. I think that was why I changed it a long time ago and was never receiving notice of sales.

    The other thing I didn't realize until I sold something this weekend is the sale of slabs during promotions. There is a 10% promotion this weekend. Hypothetically, you have a $1,000 slab that has been listed for a while. The 10% sale comes up, someone buys it. Now, they were only willing to pay $900+. If they wanted to pay $1,000 it would have been sold. BUT, the sale gets recorded as $1,000 (with eBay chipping in $100.)

    How many of the Iron Fist's have come out besides the one that was taken directly from the printer? Complimentary copies are not a given. Every artist and dealer will have a different contract. I've sold a comic directly to the artist who did the cover before. They don't always get them. The X-Men Red (X-23) virgin that was a "limited" reprint of original art is an example of worst case probably. The artist sold, I'm guessing, 50 copies well below going market price at the time.

    Yea, just happened with another book I tried to look at. You now have to go to the top and hit see original listing. They've had this before, but not to this extent.

    What they did with Batman Who Laughs. Snyder said when the first appearance was himself and they waited months and labeled the other book anyway. They have been taking the "let the market decide" approach.
