  1. No, you can't split them up like that from what I understand. I'm not a retailer, so I don't know for certain. But from what I understand with Marvel you're getting 1,500 and then only selling 600.
  2. Yea, I was thinking a Wal Mart pack. That's how the Batman New 52 #1s look.
  3. Yes and no. I think the new rule is you can get as low as 1,500 but you still pay the same cost as 3k. Multiple retailers are doing this though. Nothing new but it's always questionable.
  4. Crossfire was rumored for the first Ant Man movie when they announced some details about the villain. It ended up being Yellow Jacket, but the speculation machine had already started. i agree, not sure why it sells for more than $1 now.
  5. It's not any different. But it's got the real estate going for it, location, location, location.
  6. The only thing that resembled the comic in the first season of the show were the three main characters. The story was not really part of the comics. I think a lot of the comic people were also upset of casting the main female, Tulip, who is Ethiopian instead of the White blond in the comics. Preacher is a Modern classic series. Similar to Rick having both hands in TWD, but the story in the comics and TV show are almost identical in TWD.
  7. Ha, I actually had a friend who didn't know if was a comic book show ask me if I had seen it because they liked it. I think it would be good if it was just written as a new concept.
  8. 1st season of the Preacher TV show was garbage. That's to blame.
  9. The don't have as much internet presence as some of these other online sellers. I'm sure this isn't new art, but it's still pretty nice.
  10. Seems to be doing OK on auction: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=black+panther+oakland+variant&_sacat=0&rmvSB=true
  11. Doesn't compare to his other work on Twitch. Maybe because it's colored, but it's bad.
  12. DC has probably had half a dozen new villains in the past 6 months. Jim Lee's best work these days is on his Twitch feed. This guy isn't bad looking I guess. But this is what he sketches on Twitch.
  13. Haha, were you at the show? Yea, I did a double take going by him.
  14. True. When the variants suck guy starts buying, that's when you know the market is going to crash!
  15. Yea, but there are about 50 variant covers. Same as Spider-Man #800. Which are both shy of the 100+ for Star Wars #1.
  16. $100 BIN, $110 BO. Honestly I don't get the appeal of this book at all. When is the last time people cared this much about a book with Superman in it?
  17. Another one at $200: https://www.ebay.com/itm/X-Force-1-Marvel-1991-DEADPOOL-2-1st-Print-HIGHEST-GRADED-NM-M-CGC-9-8-WP-/302738979673?rmvSB=true&nma=true&si=izLnfpZEXQNyhXDnl%2Fe05c8xMJU%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  18. Maybe the first one for sale. I don't see more that $250, $300 after that.
  19. What rule is there for selling to a customer early? That's called a pull-list. Maybe you mean physically giving a comic to person before Wednesday? Stores can charge whatever they want. Depending on where you live, they may not be able to change the sale price when you bring it to the register if it has a price sticker on it.
  20. Beachbum guarantees grades BEFORE they are in hand. These are already in hand.
  21. Good recap. I thought the same thing about Babs Tarr pricing. I thought Jae Lee was $80 for a head, Rob Guillory was $10. https://comicbookinvest.com/2018/05/24/motor-city-comic-con/
  22. Secret War #2 (Wolverine cover). 1st Daisy Johnson / Quake.
