  1. They are not $25, they are now $125. Price is based on supply / demand. I don't think Midtown putting a copy copies up for sale is manipulating the market. Midtown is most likely the largest brick and mortar retailer for new comics in the world. That being said they inventory is constantly changing and being updated between warehousing and multiple retail locations.
  2. Yup, Midtown restocks all the time. Are they not allowed to sell for market value? (Which they are at 50% of?)
  3. http://www.comichron.com/yearlycomicssales/industrywide/2016-industrywide.html What cannot be accounted for is piracy of digital formats. The same with other forms of digital media.
  4. Huh? Third party sellers the only ones allowed to make money?
  5. You and @Buzzetta get to it. We will wait for 12 years old threads to appear at the top of Comics General.
  6. Also, once you sign this with your address they will automatically report your sales records to the IRS no matter how much you have sold.
  7. Here we go: https://www.ebaymainstreet.com/petition/internet-sales-tax-buyers
  8. Oh, I have won it multiple times. Funny part is a check just shows up in the mail. No correspondence.
  9. I think the whole story if false. After all, we have been told time and time again that the movies don't bring in new comic readers.
  10. Now that I look it up, they are called Marvel's Greatest Comics: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?q=marvels+greatest+comics&pubid=&PubRng= Marvel True Believers: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?q=true believers DC Millennium Editions. https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?SeriesID=13453821
  11. Before True Believers, they were called Marvel's Greatest Hits. Some of those can sell for a few bucks too like Alias #1 and Cable Deadpool #1.
  12. At some point the post office is to blame. We have all seen the horrors caused in shipping, but we could be talking a big difference in shipping material costs for reinforcement. Im not talking books worth $100's, I'm talking $20 books.
  13. Been a thing for a long time now. Must be because it isn't Copper or Bronze.
  14. Oh, was it the guy who had a long box of water damaged ones that he was saying were NM?
  15. Why did you post this? All you've done is dismay any comments contrary to your opinion.
  16. That was not the question I was responding to. I understand that you were not allowed to order one cover or the other. The Diamond code for example was only for the issue, not the cover.
