  1. Nope...that's why you sell. Plenty of time for market fluctuations even if it does turn out to be true.
  2. It's been a good book for a good while. Try using eBay though for sold prices. You're looking at asking prices. https://www.ebay.com/sch/Batgirl/99948/i.html?_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_nkw=brave+bold+33
  3. Going to the extreme, their was a raw that sold for $100 at the beginning of March. Last raw sold for $20. Early 9.8's sold for $200. Seems to have settled around $100 now. Even at $20 / $100 I think that's a good return for a two month old regular cover book.
  4. There are many people that have received their books from CX, including myself. It's the time, inconsistency and flat out lack of ethics that is their problem.
  5. If you hadn't seen, Eternal's is rumored for the 4th phase of the MCU. That's all it is right now though and I haven't seen it on any credible sites. https://www.screengeek.net/2018/04/05/eternals-movie-rumored-for-mcu-phase-4/
  6. All 53 of the "Marvel Legacy" titles have a different percentage qualifier to unlock the ability for retailers to order the lenticular variant. https://www.newsarama.com/35809-marvel-legacy-lenticular-cover-variants-retailers.html
  7. Hard to say who ordered what. I would guess not more lenticulars because Marvel put ordering restrictions on all of them. Also, CGR is not on the cover of 13 until the 2nd print.
  8. Good one. I think it's on it's third season and it must be fairly popular on the CW. I would pick up the Cooke variant if I saw one at a good price. But I never see them. Honestly surprised Alias #1 is holding at a pretty good price.
  9. Yes, and that's what Valiant is hanging their hat on. Valiant super hero properties have been around for 25 years. They have created great stories, great interior art and great covers. IMO I don't see the needle shifting because of a movie. Many retailers have claimed movies don't do much in terms of new readers.
  10. The color of the sketch (#2)? i think this one is about to blow. It's not Black Cat level, but I wouldn't sell yet. Let some others come out first.
  11. True, my fault. And that's exactly what I said why other counterfeits exist. I took the original description in the eBay listing as legitimate. This why I said gave the explanation that it was not a counterfeit because there wouldn't have been a market for that in 2004.
  12. "For relaxing times..." Apoligies if my original quote mislead anyone the think they were real. My sentence was precluded by unauthorized. Didn't intend to cloud the subject by somehow construing that an unauthorized reprint was real.
  13. Yup, it's a tangible object. Is it not? As are other counterfeit books I already listed on the first page.
  14. Na, let me list a couple properties that did well for the most part in the market and then look at how the comics performed. Only the Big 2 last at this point. Dark Matter (3 seasons *now cancelled, thanks ComicCollectorMatt) Wynonna Earp (2 seasons) The Strain (4 seasons, now tied to an Academy Award winner, too late?) Happy (renewed for 2nd season with B list star) Kick A**(2 major movies with A list actors) Secret Service (2 major movies and going) Hard pressed to get $50 for the first of all of those. Meanwhile the rumor of Nomad appearing brings $50 easy.
  15. Of any and all threads on this site, this situation should be the most read / viewed / reacted / shared / investigated. It's barely on the front page of CBR https://www.cbr.com/stan-lee-daughter-elder-abuse/
  16. Sometimes it's not about content...but then it is. Right?
  17. Okie dokie....nobody said you did. I'm simply asking for the origin of this book. Is the proposed story listed in the eBay listings false? Probably, but the only person who has commented so far that could possibly provide any credible information on purchase has not responded.
  18. Sorry, it's because of the content and label designation. If it was simply because it's a 1:100, why wouldn't you spend less to get one of the 1:1000 ASM variants? A variant with 10 times the requirements to qualify for?
