  1. This one seems to have people pretty furious in the FB groups.
  2. Just curious, how long have you been "collecting"?
  3. That's crazy! But you know that belongs here, ha: https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/418051-modern-drek-thats-heating-up-on-ebay/?page=6
  4. Its probably not a true 1:1. Most likely had to bump up from previous orders.
  5. You should post in the Comics General section. Lots of haters people who agree there.
  6. In reading these thinking, ok, maybe you like the story but is it relating to sales? So I looked at the last 4 months. Marvel was #1 all but one month. Oct. '17 Share of Overall Dollars Marvel 36.38% DC 30.58% Nov. '17 Share of Overall Dollars Marvel 34.29% DC 33.71% Dec. '17 Share of Overall Dollars DC 34.54% Marvel 33.80% Jan. '18 Share of Overall Dollars Marvel 34.30% DC 33.80%
  7. If you had to get a colonoscopy after reading it, I would be glad it's gone.
  8. Isn't that the case with any variant? You're not going to lose on this particular one, short term.
  9. There are currently 21 including 4 slabbed copies for sale. 53 have been sold including 14 slabbed. I wouldn't say that's a lot considering a large portion were bought for flipping, I'm guessing. And, some of these could already be people that bought one on eBay and trying to sell it again. The Thor is nice, but the image was released before FOC and there is a big event in the book. So I'm sure this will be like the last Thor 1:100. Neither have printed yet too.
  10. Between this and the cook books, you really got me, ha.
  11. Not really. You and I can argue back and forth about cameo, first, etc... But when CGC puts in on a label, people gravitate towards that. And they are inconsistent.
  12. No, not nearly everyone has been in the Avengers. The single largest and most popular superhero team in comics. Why do you think they have offshoots like New Avengers, Dark Avengers, Secret Avengers, etc... the later MK was in. As far as being a staple, nothing would be lost from Marvel if Moon Knight was gone. Nothing. BP on the other hand would be big news. Usually you bring some good information to the table, but you're really struggling with this one. Here you go buddy.
  13. https://comixtribe.myshopify.com/search?q=Sink Not seeing anything over $10 except a store variant.
  14. As I stated right above you, Comix Tribe is not selling expensive priced variants. They are store variants that are an organized buying group, creating a false market and driving up prices.
  15. Some may say they are "insufficiently_thoughtful_persons", I prefer uniformed consumers. Most people on these boards are trying to educate themselves. That is not how casual collectors are. And those are the people that will ultimately be turned off to these types of promotions. I don't see anything wrong with that. Most of the people I see getting mad claim to be "collectors". There are plenty of comics for everyone to collect and not pay inflated prices.
  16. Ever heard of a group called Avengers that BP was in? What's Moon Knights equivalent, Secret Avengers? whoo As you have stated, you don't know what Marvel has been doing. So Slapstick is a "staple character"? How about Iceman? Black Panther however at one time had three title books; Black Panther, Black Panther & the Crew, Black Panther: World of Wakanda.
  17. People on eBay are promoting false information? You've seen the shenanigans that go on through eBay in the Comics General section.
  18. Convenient that you left out the crossover and teams that the two are involved in. Get back to me when you have that figured out. Jungle Action was a "reprint series"?
