  1. I ready OML and Wolverine regularly as well.
  2. Not according to them. At least that was the response I received.
  3. I understand that many people on here have time and time again stated how strict MCS consignment grading is. I have made it known before that when I received their own items, they did not live up to the standard of the consignment grading. They have responded on here and asked for some backup to my claims. Which, by that point was months / year(s) prior. So, here is a recent purchase from their own stock of recent releases. I ordered two copies of the same book, both of which were stated as NM. They do not assign a numerical grade to their own stock of Moderns. COPY 1 Wavy cover (these are glossy cover, not the cheap paper Marvel uses) Picture is taken with comic still in the bag. Spine stressing & Ink transfer / cover rub / soiling (book has a black advertisement on back) Another picture of the book mangling. Back - cover rub on staple, wavy, stressing COPY 2 Cover rub / ink transfer / soiling Corner tear I can completely understand overlooking a minor flaw and misgrading. I myself have done this before. But it's pretty obvious that neither are NM and each have multiple flaws.
  4. Most small businesses don't. Most are people doing a job they know and then trying to run a business also. MCS is not a typical local comic shop. Which I will agree with you on the model that you proposed of turning over inventory. Unless I'm missing something here, they sold 18,000 comics on eBay in the last 15 days. That's just eBay, not what they sell directly from their site. https://www.ebay.com/csc/mycomicshop/m.html?_ipg=50&_since=15&_sop=13&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2046732.m1684
  5. I'm guessing they know how to operate their business.
  6. Don't see anything near that. A CGC 7.5 sold yesterday for just over $1k.
  7. Because they often get more money simply based on reputation.
  8. The He-Man and Star Wars are undervalued IMO in today's market.
  9. Transformers and TMNT big budget movies. They would be pretty hard to not get hundreds of millions.
  10. It grew to it's current popularity because of a number of things. And this was before the Netflix appearances which gave it another slight bump. 1. Woman character with own series integral to one of the major Marvel properties. 2. Harder to find, especially in high grade. Good luck finding a full run at any show or shop and there are 5 9.8's total for the whole series. 5 total and two issues don't have any recorded. So, that's a good formula to look at in terms of what other properties might increase in value. A book like Super Pro is a dead property and can be found in almost an $0.50 / $1.00 bin.
  11. Oh yea, I've done well with it. But would do better with the couple I have left if it was more recognized.
  12. Cool article. You might want to change your eBay search to not use "edition" in the search. Over 10x the amount of results show up.
  13. 1. She had 3 minutes of screentime in GOTG 2? EGO was the main villain. That is who the team came together to defeat. Unseen what here role in #3 will be. Remember who they setup in Cap #2 as the villain and then how they were used in Cap #3? 2. The other villains you mentioned and their value drop since the movies shows the volatility of villians. 3. Movie / TV spec. is not what it was 5 years ago.
  14. Never said anything of the sort. And, it's definitely not a key, a minor key at best.
  15. Firestorm is an ongoing part of the team on the Legends of Tomorrow TV show. As you suspected, it's not Raymond. It doesn't look like Netflix will be getting any new Marvel properties now. Did you just compare Night Nurse to Super Pro?
