  1. You see 1 sale there, I see 3 sales there showing a pattern towards supporting my argument, but whatever. One sale, three sales, its' no 100% guarantee for ANY future sale to be sure, but it certainly has more credibility then someone coming on here and claiming that you are more correct then 3 actual sales listed on GPA. It's all that's known outside of CLink and any personal sales that people may know of I think it's time for an "Ask Gator" question................................ Yes your point is valid. Maybe this book has doubled in the last 2 years.
  2. lmfao, based off what, one sale??? just because some insufficiently_thoughtful_persons bid up ep restored books and GPA post the results doesn't give any real indication.
  3. Sounds funny, but what does it mean? it means you're talking out of your you know what.
  4. You're talking like a sausage. No way a 7.5 brings in $45k and there is a 6.0 on Comiclink asking $25k NO TAKERS!
  5. If restored batman 1 ep copies of 5.5 are really going for $20k plus then the bubble is about to burst.
  6. $12k/13k will get you a nice looking 3.5/4.5 copy and a restored 6.0/7.0 If you know someone that has restored 3.5/4.5 copy for 12K please let me know. I think the later estimates of near double that are much closer to the mark. James G I'm talking about AF 15 unrestored 3.5/4.5 around $12k and restored 6/7
  7. $12k/13k will get you a nice looking 3.5/4.5 copy and a restored 6.0/7.0
  8. I see a 5.5 ep asking price of $21,700 sold in the marketplace. I thought this was a $12k/13k book.
  9. This is a tough call being it has no back cover. I would have it graded as is and hope it comes back a blue label.
  10. Do you have a link? Do an advance search on Ebay
  11. I can't imagine there is much of a market for a $40k Mego.
  12. Actually, it went for 20% less than a 6.5 ow/w that sold last year. I believe the difference in prices realized is indeed due to the chipping and missing corner piece on the copy just sold. While the CGC-assigned numerical grade is an important factor in determining a key's value, so to is how nice the comic looks. I am inclined to agree with this. It's still a helluva good price for that though. Only $6500 less than the 5.5 below it, also on comic link? Wow. I think that would have realized more in a straight auction. -J. terrible photo and the Stan Lee autograph didn't help. (autograph on CGC case but still)
  13. Yes, shouldn't be a problem buying from a private seller.
  14. depending on appearance and page quality average 1 = 45k 2 = 100k and 3 = 120k This is based off a 1.8 selling for 90k
  15. New to the boards too. I collect mostly bronze and a few silver age comics. Rick
