I am interested in this new series, and a number of non-Transformer people I've spoken with are also interested enough to want to pick up #1. From the art that I have seen via Daniel Warren Johnson's YouTube Live Friday with DDubs, it is a bit different from what I'm used to on TF books. Some panels don't do it for me, while others are incredible!

Every year I have gone bags have been allowed, they just check the contents upon entry. The pic/screenshot from above states "Arena" which is different from the Convention Hall. Hope this helps!

Two issues have been released so far. I've only been able to read the 1st and its different but very intriguing! -
For what I understand, once you drop off of Free Comic Day like NEC did last year, there is a wait list to get back one. Which is so unfortunate for them and us.

I like it, giving us a final story kind of like the final page or two of ReGeneration One did? The previews for this gave more of a silhouette than the cover does, looks perhaps like the final bot from ReGeneration? Also, while listening to the Transmissions podcast they mentioned that there would be another as yet not announced final mini series that would finish up their current storyline. I feel like that will end up being more of a rushed story since they seem to have been dragging out this 2.0 universe story way too much, Although I will admit the past 6 issues or so have been better. -

I agree with you both Mecha_Fantastic and mec3437. I feel the IDW continuity truly ended with the Unicron Series. This new universe... I keep waiting for it to be good. The Constructicons arc in Galaxies was enjoyable. Guess the waiting can end and the wake begin. I will be disappointed that Beast Wars will not continue as I have been enjoying the story thus far. the next publisher does great things! -

Now that image has better logo placement! And yes, Shockwave gun is a nice touch, but why is Optimus wielding Megatron? -

Dig the Optimus one, Soundwave not so much. Maybe its the placement of the logo partially covering his head? Or that hand? But its a set, and nice score!! -

Yes, I agree! Galaxies has been great, with the main series, while interesting, could had a condensed the story so far. Though if whats happened so far was only 12 issues, it still would be deemed slow. -

I think #2 of '84 is out next week. Digging it so far! Art is superbly great and retro! -
Remembering your First or Favorite Toy Store and the Items They Sold
JBrown replied to GeneticNinja's topic in Comics General
Ah, Mr. Big Toyland! Anyone in the Boston area watching Force Five and Starblazers knew all about this place! Constant commercials lead to constant nagging of the parents to bring you there. When I finally got there, it was like heaven! Child World was also where I remember getting my Star Wars toys. Then there was I believe a place I think was called Tons n' Tons of Toys. Bought many a Transformers from there! -
