  1. I wasn't the first one who threw the word "clown". Read a few pages before my initial post. I just didn't feel the need to quote the guy. I'll own the "keyboard warrior". I did say that towards RMA.
  2. 1000% Very true. CGC would be more than happy to take your money. Starlin on the other hand doesn't care of the potential revenue he's loosing from CGC fanboys. Yet, he's the clown...
  3. I'll debate with people just not with you. Now, leave me alone...
  4. Man, I don't want to debate with you. You're nothing more than a keyboard warrior. Just to nip this in the bud, I am changing my initial comment to: Happy?
  5. I wonder if this will result to CGC refusing to grade books associated to Jim Starlin?
  6. He's definitely upset. The only difference between his rant vs your typical anti-slabbing keyboard warrior is he can actually do something about it.
  7. Rant against CGC on the internet?! My gawd, this has never happened before! Bring out the pitchforks! Man, these CGC fanboys need to grow some kahunas...
  8. After the Avengers: Infinity War movies, these flippers won't even know who Starlin is.
  9. Yeah, that sucks for collectors who has the yellow label OCD. However, I don't see why these fans can't still say "hi" and have a pleasant chat with him when they see him at a show. I know, life isn't fair. With all the great things that Jim Starlin has done for the hobby and the enjoyment he brought to us fans, I think he deserves a little bit of our respect and understanding.
  10. Everybody loved Starlin when he's signing books for free. However, now that he decided to not sign any CGC books, but still free for the non-slabbing fans, which could result to some flippers / SS facilitators loosing potential scratch, he's the bad guy.
  11. The only guarantee in life are death and taxes.
  12. I think how CGC works would be the last thing on Jim Starlin's mind. Further, this is not about Starlin vs CGC. He was just happy to sign books for fee until fellow artists urged him to charge due to rampant flipping. Starlin gave it a shot and he didn't get his money - he got upset. Now, he doesn't want anything to do with CGC, which makes signed comics cost a premium in the secondary market. How hard is that to understand?
  13. I can see a lot of flippers and speculators getting their panties all bunched up. Respect the man's decision. He's not getting any royalties after a book he created and signed gets passed around like a drunken whore at a frat house.
  14. Have to agree here. MP1 was the most affordable Warlock key for the longest time. Now, people (mostly speculators) are catching up and parking their money on this book.
  15. I've heard somewhere that the Marvel Cosmic Universe will be the main focus on Phase 4. The guy who wrote that blog could be on to something.
  16. Again, I'm not disputing that the most valuable amongst the 3 Warlock books is Thor 165. It has the HIM cover that most speculators (including myself) want All I'm trying to say is that the content and timing of its release was not consistent to those of Hulk 180 / 181, ASM 299 / 300, MoS 17 / 18, etc. Thor 165 was not part of the original story arc (origin) and was released 2 yrs later. The HIM character was clearly established in '67. I bet we won't be having this discussion if FF 67's cover looks like this:
  17. You mean those "key issue only" collectors? They just eat whatever CGC write on their labels (sometimes wiki).
