  1. Another nice pickup. Congratulations. Your collection is worthy of the Smithsonian.
  2. Great looking book. First copy I saw with the price posted.
  3. It has been a while since I have been on the board. I am very impressed with your collection. Kudos as I know it takes quite an effort to chase down those books.
  4. The census shows seven variants with two copies graded of Florida L.P. gas
  5. Even in that condition, it is a keeper. First time I have seen that book.
  6. Monash University has a copy. The inside of the book is black and white. http://www.monash.edu/library/collections/exhibitions/communism/virtual-exhibition/items2/item102 I was the under bidder but I would have possibly bid more if Heritage would have answered my email last week asking about the back cover. The description was rather sparse.
  7. Nice collection. I suspect someone on this board won the Heritage Auction for "IsThis Tomorrow #nn Australian Edition (Catechetical Guild, 1947)". Very rare book to obtain.
  8. I normally purchase the file copies for the Harveys but since I have the original art to this book, I had to have it.
  9. At one time, this was a flagship title for Havey; however, the character has faded in recent years.
  10. Thanks to eccomic, I was able to add this beauty to my collection. [/img] Took me quite a while to obtain a copy but one more book off of my list. Actually pretty interesting reading. I have attached the complete story from www.ep.tc. America Under Socialism
  11. I am unaware of any B&W copies out there outside of the two slabbed copies, which happen to be owned by members of this board.
  12. Congratulations on the pickup. It looks like the Tomorrow book has nice page quality. My goal is to get every variation out There. I know of about five price label varients. Maybe more out there.
  13. Wow Esquire. It is pretty impressive to obtain one copy. I am envious. Nice acquistions!
  14. Apparently, there is a third copy around of "America Menaced". Here is the entire book for review. America Menaced
  15. I honestly don't know. There are only 2 copies on the census. Mine and a restored 7.0, so that tells you something right there. This book is quite rare. I own the restored 7.0 in the census. In the 25 years of collecting anti-commie books, the aforementioned two copies are all that I have seen.
  16. Hey Red, trying to corner the market? Nice grouping of a very tough to find book.
  17. You are amassing quite a world class collection of anti-commie books. (thumbs u
  18. I was watching it, but when it crossed $1,200 I bailed. It's uncommon, but not nearly as hard-to-find as Blood Is the Harvest or America Menaced. Census shows 19 copies slabbed. I've got two, a 9.4 and a 9.0 copy. I always wondered if a small stash of uncirculated copies was found a while back - as it often seems to show up in high grade. Back in the mid eighties, I heard that Geppi had a handful of these copies. I know that Esquire and I have CGC 9.6 copies (shrug)s. I suspect ours may have come from this stash.
  19. Put me on your list as well. I only bought several hundred dollars worth of supplies from you but after reading your posts, I will take my business elsewhere.
  20. Love those books. I still need to find a nice lookinig Yalta book for my own collection.
  21. Thanks for posting Boot. That is the first time I saw this book with gray hair as being the front cover. You have a pretty nice collection.
  22. I see that Dr. Fred Schwarz passed away earlier this year. His monthly CACC newsletter is still being published though.
  23. With all of the communist literature out there, I am certain communist comic books would have been distributed as a means of propaganda. I just don't recollect seeing any.
  24. I overpaid for many of my books as well. That letter is such a nice piece of Americana.
  25. It would be interesting seeing those letters to your Grandmother. I still receive the CACC newsletter. It is still called the Schwarz Report but Dr. Noebel seems to oversee it. I got on their mailing list when I inquired if they have any comics stufffed in some closet. No luck.
