I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone lloking to purchase a scanner "on the cheap" to look at your local Goodwill. I stopped by one this weekend and purchsed an Epson Perfection 2400 for $4.99 and while checking out found it was 1/2 price on all electronic items that day, so it only cost me $2.50 Works like new and in great condition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need some advice from the Swamp Thing crowd. If you were to make a FAIR offer on a Saga of the Swamp Thing run #1-140 in NM condition including all keys, what would it be? If you were to sell that same run, what would you try to sell it for?

So after joining the forum and getting back into the hobby I inquired on my first Craigslist ad. The ad was for Thanos Quest and IG set. I walked away with those listed, and much more including one of my personal "whales".... Here's the original books offered: Here is some extra he threw in for free: and then without even knowing it was for sale, he showed me this and when I asked how much he wanted he said $150.00.... I still can't believe I own such a beautiful copy of a book like this. WOW!

I have been changing out bags recently to mylars and started using painters blue tape. Anyone else use it? I used it thinking it would be easy to pull off and I think I may have seen it talked about on the forums before also.

I am so jealous of the Unopened Zartan!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I have wanted to buy one of those for years now. They are just a bit too expensive for me right now. When I see that zartan, the second Snake Eyes (visor and wolf), or Storm Shadow (1st), I instantly go back in my mind to playing in my backyard with my brother.

I loved it. I think this show could be so much better than it is/was. It has things that were written amazing (his voice changer!!!!) and at least twice a show there is something that is so cheesy and "WB/CW" it takes the cool mess right away and makes me not want to watch. One of those main things, in my opinion... Canary. Her acting is horrid and annoying.

Yeah. Especially when I started out, all I wanted was a high grade Bats 232. Now sure how I wounded up chasing every book with Bats drawn by Adams. I find myself on that quest now. It started with the first Neal Adams GL art and has moved to all Adams GL art and Batman art. Im going slow though

Also I saw the post about fixing their high shipping, but I need to talk to them to do that also. Any other comparable places?

Hello all, noobie Bryan here! I am 30 years old and am just getting back into collecting again. I grew up collecting in the late '80s and early '90s (ouch) with early faves being G.I. Joe, Batman, Green Lantern, and The X-Men of course. I then grew into the great Vertigo stuff in my teens. I kinda fell away around 18 or so. Not too long ago I decided to get Neal Adams to sign some books and landed by happenstance into a CGC Signature Series booth and here I am.Loving the forum and itching to talk about collecting and comics with you all!!!!!
