  1. And the creme of this crop, a stellar Oakland And not an Ohio in the bunch! =)
  2. A 8.5ish Northland
  3. This one's obvious
  4. Great find! Guess the lineage of the book is straight forward?
  5. Thanks =) And I'm not sure that the White Mountain books travelled with a CoA. I talked to Payette about those exact WWBNs 6 or so months ago and I believe he said he got them directly from Weist. I think that if you were to get something from Payette saying he got them from Weist, that'd be sufficient as far as proof goes. Both have good reps. Heck, even print outs of the eBay auctions showing that Payette advertised them as White Mountains might be enough. Good pick ups!
  6. A Northland... and an Oakland
  7. 85% of my peds are Ohios and came from the original dealer. I have enough of them scattered over '65 - '70 that I can match them up pretty well if a new one pops up from somewhere random. The rest have usually been bought from the original dealer of the collection.
  8. Chain of provenance back to the owner, or some sort of certificate. A majority of the Silver/Bronze pedigrees don't have any significant markings. Boston, Oakland, Pacific Coast, Curator, Western Penn, Diamond Run, Mass, Winnipeg, Northland and most Bowling Greens have nothing on em. 99% of the time an Ohio or GR has a date on it. A good deal of White Mountains have the pen year, Circle 8s have the....circle 8, and I think most Bethlehems have a date somewhere.
  9. Curator went that far? I didn't think they had 20 cent Curators much less almost 30 cent ones.
  10. Glad you like them! Thanks for your patience!
  11. I had those books watched on eBay. =) I'm not much of a Golden Age fan, but I was more than willing to jump on them if they stayed low. I love those covers! Grats!
  12. Very nice! Nice bright yellow on that 60.
  13. gotta be white mountain w/ that penned in date. Yep, dead give away.
  14. New comic, new scanner. My first proper scan! Thx fiancee for the all-in-one. The comic is a present to myself =p
  15. I sent a link to that book to my fiance when it was on Pedigree, with the hint that, "Man, I'd sure love to own a Curator anything." Gorgeous book =). The price was right. I think you need to find yourself a new sugar mamma Hah! Would have been an eventual xmas present. So, finding out you have it means that either I'm not going to get it from her for xmas, or that you are my fiancee.

  17. Consider picking up and reading 300 - 400 a new years resolution. =) I've ignored Thor for 20 years because I hadn't been his biggest fan growing up. Thor just wasn't as cool when I was 9 as the X-men or Batman or Spider-man. But after just reading what I consider a very solid run stoires from 1 - end in Vol 3, I may have to start collecting the title. =)
  18. No poker and pizza for you. Can I have his? You can have my DC poker and pizza if you give up your Marvel strippers and beer.
  19. superworldCOMICS.com =)
  20. Nice TTA! How ever were you able to afford that? The Paypal fairy delivered to me a balance I used immediately.
  21. Another day, another TTA on its way.
  22. Its certainly not a trait of the pedigree. And I'm not a FF collector so much, so that wouldn't be something I'd have noticed or heard about before. But a quick trip to eBay and it seems there are a few copies of FF 100 like that.
  23. Not the best QP in the world, but an Ohio, so I'll take it!
