  1. My FF26 - only an 8.5-9.0 but a nice bright white cover. There are a lot of mustard tinged copies out there. Fantastic Four 44 also seems to be difficult to find with a pristine white cover.
  2. Picked this up a week ago - taken me many years to get a decent copy of this issue.
  3. Hi Jimbo Nice to see this book go to a good home. If you are interested, I bought this book from Harley Yee 15 years ago in London (he used to come over for a couple of UK shows each year - I think it was Storey's Gate - the UK guys will remember). So I guess it has found its way home. The page quality is excellent - the book has been sat in archival Mylar D all that time. Regards Alan (Glasgap, UK)
  4. And here is mine. Alan
  5. Best drawing of the Thing? The Thing has always been my favourite comic book character but, since I started reading the FF at around issue 40, I could never get used to the Thing artwork in the first few FF issues. I think The Thing artwork on the cover of issue 91 is superb. Alan
  6. When I trawled round the UK comic marts in the 90s, I never saw a high grade copy of Fantastic Four 13 in person. Great looking copies. Here is a FF27 I picked up pre-CGC. A small indent at the top of the back cover but the pages are white and the cover colors are nice. Alan (UK)
  7. This is the only FF book I have removed from a slab - I collected the rest before CGC. I bought this book (very old label, 8.5, OW/W) to upgrade my existing raw copy at that time. The latter was subsequently CGCed at 9.2 and sold. For my eyes, I kept the better book.
  8. The cover of FF 26 never seems to feature in any of the best cover lists but is my second favourite behind FF 3. I first saw a high grade FF 26 at the Nottingham (UK) show a long time ago - the detail with the little figures really caught my eye. It took me many years to get a copy with a white cover (without a mustard tinge).
  9. The stresses are mainly on the front cover.
  10. Have you missed www.silveracrecomics.com? I have only bought a few books off Darryl in the last 10 years but generally the grading has been very good. He gets some really high quality CGC stuff now and again (for example, I note he has the CGC MT 9.9 Amazing Spiderman 19 bought off Heritage in February for $20,700 up on ebay ). Alan (UK)
