Superb looking book and smart buy, Steve. Congrats!

That's a great looking 5.5
I was thinking the same thing. Whats the deal with it only being a 5.5?
I BIN'd it on Comiclink (for half guide! ), so risk is low. I'll get a closer look when it arrives.... but the book presents 7.0 or better.

Pretty jacked about these two books which I think I picked up at a great price.
So, that was you who one the Target #5. Terrific deal ...Jerry put a $250 estimate on it but Guide = $1100!

Here's a book that I've had sellers regret for since around 2002 when I sold my nice raw copy in my initial stages at eBay...thanks to MCMiles I have finally brought another copy home to roost in the ArAich collection....
nice book (did cgc omit the PQ?)...I have always liked that copy...it reminds me of another book, but I can't put my finger on it!

Rick...Let me take a guess: Thrilling #59? BTW, Congrats ArAich!

Here's a cool Femme Fatale cover...
"She's got legs...and knows how to use them!"

Why doesn't he just hit him with the club?
He's a golfer not a fighter
Besides, Kit doesn't want to damage his sand-wedge or he'll have a tough back nine!

143ksk,
Fantastic Marvel Mystery #11 ...I'll bet it's the CGC 5.5 copy. I owned it (and slabbed it) a while back...

Great purchase, Richard!
Speaking of Hangman, while everyone was focused on the Sept Heritage Auctions, I quietly sneaked over to Mastro Auctions and picked up this classic, uber-cool Hangman #2! Pssst...Highest Graded Copy!

Most Jaw Dropping book in the lot is that Tarzan.
Thanks for noticing! It is the Central Valley copy, and at present the book closest to my heart. Saw it at San Diego last year and was able to work out a very unreasonable price on it. But sometimes you just bite your lip and pay!
BTW...the other really cool book is the Silver Streak #1. It is the Pay Copy. Got it at the first Philly Wizard show from a guy walking around the room selling Golden Age. He was at my table buying a World's Finest #3 and said "I can't believe I am buying something. I actually came here to sell!" One thing led to another......
...Guys, I think that "filler" Marvel Mystery #9 CGC 6.5 is not bad either!

I have posted this in other threads but
Awesome book, Surfer! I wish all my 6.0 books looked that nice...

Same basic principle with Schomburg covers. Great art is great art.
Schomburg rocks. Period.
Jive, I couldn't agree more, bro! Another great Timely Schomburg cover just picked up on Comiclink...
As a sequel to his famous "burnt arm" image from HT#12, Schomburg here presents "burnt hair"

Nice pick-up rjpb!
#22 (actually #1) is scarce and only 8 in cencus. According to OPG, Crime Does Not Pay is the first crime title....so, is this the first crime comic? Curious...

Just got this page, Thanks Dino!
Awesome Submariner page -
Thanks, it has popped up a few times in that last couple of years, but now it is gone for good! I was really happy when I was able to buy it since I missed it in Heritage's auction the 1st go around and got home late from work and missed it in the CLINK auction.
Always glad to help....and Happy Birthday!! Enjoy the wonderful Subby splash page!
