  1. Scored these today in a trade with a local guy. Blinding colors! Don’t have time to go through my FH Jungle and Jumbo comics but these covers seem real familiar. Possible swipes? I have a handful of very high grade Jungle pulps. Due to their traditional low values, now might be a good time to have some of them graded.
  2. No biggie, that’s what pressing is for. Seen one Action 1 you seen ‘em all…
  3. The Chicago Toy Show is one of the best shows of its kind in the US. Or at least it used to be. I haven’t been in maybe 8 years. Lots of amazing eye candy. And I have even found old comics there.
  4. Is that a bound volume? Some great overlooked digest covers there.
  5. Nice! I would have happily kept it even incomplete. It’s all about the cover and one I am very unlikely to obtain anymore.
  6. Thanks Andy. I got through and was able to see the graders notes but there is no scan. Maybe they haven’t posted it yet? Or maybe I have to pay extra for it? I did check the census page and my copy is not listed yet. I’m a GA collector. One thing I have learned is patience…
  7. I remember buying that Flash off the rack at the drug store. But by that time I was a Marvel Zombie.
  8. Hit a couple of unopened F case boxes yesterday. Got a couple Treasure Hunt Mustangs and this beautiful ‘71 El Camino purple Super! A whole lotta fun for a few bucks.
  9. Without reading all 7 pages, I would just say No, period. A seller has every right no matter what their reasons are, to ask what ever they want. A buyer has every right to say no. Try taking an old comic into a 7-11 and offer to trade it for a carton of milk. Ultimately, that will determine it’s true value…
  10. Here’s mine. I got it a LONG time ago. I bought it because 1.) It was a Giant, 2.) It was a Crime book, 3.) It had a purty dame on the cover and 4.) It was probably cheap. In the days that if it wasn’t a GA Timely, DC, an EC or a Barks book, it had very little interest. In those days, $50-75. bought a large stack of interesting books. Nobody knew who Matt Baker was. Just dumb luck I guess.
  11. Cool! Never have owned the binders or pencil cases.
  12. Yes. My Mr Gasser is a factory sealed bottom box. I hope he’s in there…
  13. Yes, 2 separate albums. I photographed both sides..
  14. Just read that my single high value pulp has been shipped. Grade is about what I expected. Can’t wait to see it… The lower value ones are still in grading. Will post when they arrive. Is it possible to see the CGC scan?
