  1. A book I've been looking for a while but never found a copy that presented OK for a decent price. Thanks to Saul, I got one to fill the hole 'till I can get a better one. One of my favorite purchases.
  2. Since there was no Catman #32. I had to settle for this from Ted. Very happy to have it as a consolation prize.
  3. Slowly finishing up my run of Venus. This was a find for me from Saul again.
  4. Always try to get a More Fun. Very good contents and and an "Eldon" the dealer wasn't aware of as an added bonus.
  5. Thanks to Superworld, I finally got this. Classic Juvenile Delinquent story and cover. VERY hard to find.
  6. Last one of these I needed as well. VERY gory and wild contents!
  7. A scarce ED from Saul. When I had my complete EC collection I never had any of these Western or Romance ones. Now I'm playing catch up.
  8. A couple of cheap Bakers from the Heroes romance box that I didn't have.
  9. One of the better Blue Bolts content and art wise. I love the cover too!
  10. Annother Harley buy. Cheap hole fillers but I am just glad to get them! Is the #23 a scarce one?
  11. Two tough ACG romances. One on the left from Heroes (had a nice box of new romance books) and the one on the right from Harley. Thanks Guys!
  12. Thanks to Brain Peets, I have now completed my pre-code runs of Marvel Tales and Mystic!
  13. OK, here is what Robot Man scored at WonderCon. I was looking for MLJ, Ace, Prize, Catman and some oddball GA books preferably in nice shape. This is the better stuff I got. I'm not unhappy because I filled some holes and got some cool stuff but was just a little disapointed with the dealer turnout. I mostly bought from A1, Ted at Superworld (always fun to see Ted), Jamie Graham (he grows on you) and Saul from Oddesy Comics (always has a good selection of unusual GA at great prices). I also like the "little" dealers that get lost in the shuffle. I got some good deals from them as well. Low grade but I've always wanted one and Jamie Graham made it VERY affordable
  14. Thanks Guys! I knew you would be able to help. I did pretty good.
  15. Yeah, we gotta meet face to tin one of these days! Probably not at San Diego though. Too hard to get in, too expensive and the crowds just kick my butt. I haven't gone for the past two years after going to all of them byt 4 I think. I'm OK with it. Plus it is about the same time as the Portland Expo Antique Show. I go with my wife because she is an antique dealer. I always find a ton of stuff including always a decent load of old comics cheap. Best indoor antique show in the country!
  16. Looks like a lot of them came from Jim Malley. By the time I got to him he was pretty cleaned out of the superhero stuff. I did see the Moon Girls but also had all of them already. If you feel like bending over hard, you could call Storms on the Caps. I just couldn't justify the prices "Pauls" or not...
  17. Schomburg is one of my favorite artists. I also like his xela work a lot. But this just doesn't float my boat at all. I was pretty sure the stories sucked. You won't have any compettition on these from me.
  18. Also got these very large Star Wars guys in the same deal. All very nice condition. The R2D2 is battery operated. Again, I don't know who the brown guy is? Can you help out with a value? Many thanks!
  19. Got lucky and got to go "junking" early Sunday morning. I found these for what seemed pretty cheap. Since I don't do modern toys much I wondered if you guys could give an idea of what these might be worth? I know a few are damaged and I think Shazam's cape belongs to the other Batman. Don't know who the girl missing an arm and torn outfit is...
  20. Ted from Superworld had some real nice Atlas books at Wondercon this weekend.
  21. Sure... Another pointy cover. I was the 2nd high bidder on the Love Journal that closed on the bay last week. I was a little shocked at what it went for. I really thought I had "manned up" but guess not. Did a boardie get it? In a way, I'm just as glad because i know if I am patient I will find a shmoo who prices it at "guide" sooner or later. Romance is HOT! Sooo, you were the one who bid me up! I guess, but it appears like we were BOTH losers though...
  22. Here's another tough to get "pointy finger" cover!

  24. A cool Yellow Kid pin cushion. Also an early Amos and Andy paperweight.
  25. Maybe my favorite. Circa 1940 Force Cereal box advertising the Superman radio show. A complete box as well. Only one of these I've ever seen!
