  1. Here are most of the others. It's Love Journal #10 you're thinking of - Anderson classic. Thanks Andy, yeah, it was Love Journal. The other two I've never seen before. Books like these are just so impossible to find any more. But that's what makes this fun when you do!
  2. (My) Romantic Adventures #49 - "Jailbird's Romance" (not my copy) Thanks Richard! Yeah, that's the one. I'm sure I will have to battle the unwashed hords on flea bay to get one now... Ya know, this weird stuff I like is a real challenge to find. I guess that is why I like it.
  3. I don't think I have ever seen these posted here? Posted some other ones over in my "Junk" thread.
  4. I know this one isn't an ACG but a Charlton but I think it fits here. I'm not sure because since I got this one I've never paid any attention to any others, but I would suspect, this is pretty scarce. I've seen other books with the "accusing finger or looks" but I think this is the only other one I've got. I think there is a Love Diary one as well as a few others.
  5. This one is one I like a lot. Who wouldn't get sucked into wanting to read this!
  6. This one has gone for some pretty stupid money on the "bay" lately. I got this one for two bucks!
  7. Now we get to the "Good" stuff. There are four of these that are real wild. I believe I only have 3. What is the other one?
  8. Here is annother one. Are there only two?
  9. Today, I feel the love in the air. Thought I'd put up a few Romance books. ACG's are pretty stinky except for a little bright spot... I really like these "3D Effect" ACG's here is one
  10. Thanks for posting this one. Now, I've got to add it to the list...Seems like that senario has been played out on tons of these teenage books (the stepping into an open man hole cover). I know I've probably got a bunch of them. Another good idea for a thread... I have noticed that theme on a lot of covers too, would make a great thread. You also mentioned 'male bondage covers' as a theme in another thread. Would be interesting to see, since the industry gets a rap for its depiction of women in those days, to see if it played ball equally in actuality where that theme was involved. And not "joint sex" bondage covers, just guys. Anywho appreciate the kudos on the book ( we all know posting is time consuming, but makes it all worth it when people like what they see, and comment! (thumbs u I dunno, maybe I'm weird that way, but I have no desire to see tied up dudes Me neither but what ever floats your boat... And as they say on American Pickers, "I'll sell anything I can make a buck on..."
  11. I'll see if I can put together a "manhole" cover post maybe this weekend and you guys can all add to it. Yeah, there are quite a few "male" bondage covers. I used to have a customer in Canada who requested them (shirtless). I supplied him with quite a few. I remember some Tarzan, Tonto and "jungle" type books as well as a lot of others.
  12. I was thinking Spiderwebs... OK, all I gotta do is suggest, and you guys will do it for me!
  13. Thanks for posting this one. Now, I've got to add it to the list...Seems like that senario has been played out on tons of these teenage books (the stepping into an open man hole cover). I know I've probably got a bunch of them. Another good idea for a thread...
  14. That one is on my want list! Really nice copy. Stand out cover, along with no.4 ( but I've got that one already). Thanks for sharing Robot Man Took me FOREVER to get one then this one poped up on the bay and went cheap.
  15. A tip of the Blarney to you Bang! Happy St. Patty's Day!
  16. I love Hap Hazards. They are really tough to find that run if you are looking for them. Here is MY favorite one: (Feldstein goodness!)
  17. Hey MAD Freaks! I just posted some more weird MAD artifacts over in my "50 Year Junk Obscession" thread in the Gold section. Here is a little taste...
  18. Last one for today is a real MAD licensed item. The "Potrzebie" 45 rpm record in original seeve. It isfrom 1959 and was offered for sale in the magazine only. The 33-1/3 albums are pretty obtainable but this 45 is near impossible to find any more espcially in it's original sleeve. (Same image on both sides). Classic Don Martin art! I actally put this on my ipod!
  19. A 1960 Pittsburgh PA high school pin. A friend of mine sent it to me years ago as a gift.
  20. I love this 1958 "What me Graduate?" button. Obviously MAD Magazine inspired. This button and the next one are VERY rare. They were made for High School events and probably no more than 100 were made of each. They are also regional and probably only available in the areas that they were made. They are also obviously not licensed by MAD.
  21. A grouping of pre-MAD matchbooks and novelty items. Where do I find all this weird stuff???
