  1. The cast just seems underwelming-but it's actually a career gamble for most actors after the last 5 years of Marvel dreck. And Byrne?? Dear God in Heaven -if they don't go full throttle Kirby in design-inspiration and spirit they should be horse whipped! And most of all please study the source material and don't give us immasculated cuck males and a boss babe Sue dominating the story line...... Just turned 60-still waiting for a great FF movie-oh how it tasks me....
  2. It's not good for comic dealers- One dealer(can't remember their name) sets up on the far left wall as you enter the door. Has a good Silver Age assortment but that's about it. One vintage toy dealer always sets up on the far right wall as you enter the door. Several other very small dealers spread around the selling area with mostly new comics. Tons of dealers but just not a lot of old comic selection. Bob Storms and Reece's Rare Comics used to attend back in the day but they both told me it was a bad show for them..never again type thing. So it's much more a cosplay-toy-quest-new comic show.
  3. The best: Sinnott-especially on the FF and Captain America Giacoia- one example-FF annual 5 is beautiful-the Thing never looked better- one better than Sinnott Long tenures but not my favorites: Stone-everything looked great but the Thing never looked right to me when he inked the FF and I always judged the inking on how good the Thing looked Ayers-looked like mud on Michelangelo to me Shores-ditto Royer-never understood the love-always made Kirby's art appear flat to me Colletta- the hands of characters never looked right to me-plus the erasing.... but sometimes it seemed a perfect match. Underrated or Guilty pleasures: Ditko-gave Kirby an enjoyable quirky hue D Bruce Berry-enjoyed his Kamandi inks Dan Adkins-solid inker on Kirby Abominations: Reinman and Roussos and Colletta on the FF.
  4. Super Nice FFs in upcoming Comiclink Auction Please check out some very nice Fantastic Four I have consigned in the upcoming May Comiclink auction(all CGC): #45 9.4 OW-W. Been awhile since a 9.4 has come up. #46 9.6 OW Boston. Nicely centered and a pedigree #74 9.6 OW- Don't see a 9.6 that often with this book. Beautiful. #s 63,71,83,85 all 9.6 and perfectly centered. Also have some nice Kamandi and Magnus Robot fighter in their upcoming June auction. All but one Kamandi is perfectly centered. The Magnus are 9.2(5,12,14,25) and the Kamandi are 9.6(2,4,6,10,12,18,19) Those Fantastic Four would look good on the wall of your mansion or yacht or in your second to none collection so don't let your wealthy buddy outbid you! LOL! I forgot that I had some books selling now so thanks to the collectors that bid on my FF #77 9.6. #95 9.6.#88 9.6 and annual #4 Boston 9.6.
  5. Kudos to Beltan Ali aka r100comics. Received superbly packaged comic from England very promptly! A seamless transaction!
