Hi, I send in some books for reholders back at the end of March and they haven't showed up on the submissions page. Reholders I sent AFTER this order just showed up in the submissions page but not the earlier order. I'm trying to find out what happened to my older order? my Order# CGC0902175304 Thanks

The ones i got back were all clean slabs, no cracks or mold flash or anything. They didn't actually detail what they did though, no notes or any explanations. But i got all of them back in new clean holders.

in case anyone was interested, i sent these books in on January 18th as mechanical errors and they fixed them all and I just got them all back. 7 books in total. Took about a month from when i shipped them to CGC to them sending them back to me. I also didn't have to pay for shipping. Thanks for the replies everyone!

looking now at all the sides of these books, they all have small cracks on the sides. I have to call them and have them sent back. this is almost all the books, how did all of these books get past quality control? I guess they're just trying to get through stuff too fast because of volume of submissions. I sent in 24 books and nearly all of them have these problems

Hi, I just got some books back from CGC and almost half of them feel like the top isn't closed all the way. It's locked in but at the top i can actually press it and feel it close like the case isn't tightly secured. Then when I let go, the case open up a bit. It's not a big gap or anything its just noticeable when you grab the top of the case. Is that normal or are these defective? I attached pictures for your viewing convenience. (If you download the pictures and toggle between them you can see the gap a lot better.) Thanks!

Who do we email to check up on submission status for books? I sent books that they received back in June 2nd, it took two months for them to be added to the submission tracking on 8/2 and it's been in the "Scheduled for Grading" phase and "Received at CCS" since then.

How do you submit a signature series book if I'm the artist of the sketch cover I'm submitting? Thanks!

So after contacting the CGC signature series guy, he said as long as you are the artist it doesn't need to be directly witnessed. You can mail the book in or drop them off at a comic con AND if you're the artist you also get a 12 dollar discount, which is awesome. Thanks for all the replies guys!

I've read through most of this thread, and i have a question that i didn't see on the boards. I've read the artist can send the commissioned covers to CGC or a Dealer, So If i'm the artist and I do a sketch cover, Is it as simple as just bringing the finished covers to a comic-con and drop it off at the CGC booth and paying the fees associated with getting it graded? Thanks!
