Personal Information

  1. This page finally arrived. It's from Captain America: The Chosen #1, with art by Mitch Breitweiser
  2. Just got this in the mail today, and I have to say, it's a beauty! It's a twice-up page from Tales of Suspense 77, with layouts by Kirby, pencils by Romita Sr and inks by Giacoia...
  3. Hey all, it's been a while since I've had an art day, but finally this cover arrived today! I think Paul Pelletier's done a tremendous job on Exiles, definitely contributing to it being a really fun read! Here we have the Exiles, plus a bunch of alternate reality Wolverines!
  4. Hey all, things have been crazy since I am living in California for the summer, so this post is long due, but here are some of my latest acquisitions! First is a huge DPS commission I got from Bob Layton, I wanted a piece that summarized some of the biggest moments in Cap's career. I am definitely impressed with this piece! Second is the cover to Captain America #411, by Rik Levins and Danny Bulanadi: I also got Bob Layton to ink a recreation of the Captain America 228 cover, pencilled by the original penciller Ron Wilson. He lightboxed the pencils so that I can have both the pencil version and the inked version: Thanks to Court(jjeanius) for this piece. I have not received it yet, but I received the scan of the final version, it's by Renato Italo: Another commission, this one by Dave Ross, beautiful pencils, I will definitely have to look for a good inker to finish this one up... Finally, here's a prelim that I got from a commission Diego Maia is working on. Once again, thanks Court for setting this one up! Hopefully Diego will finish it up shortly!
  5. I had Ron Wilson do the following recreation for me. I believe it looks great, and I might try to get someone to ink it for me next... Dan Green inked the cover originally, but I don't have his contact info. It's the recreation to Captain America #228, one of the first Cap comics I ever bought...
  6. Great piece Alberto......I love it. Click HERE to see how this battle turned out. Just messing with the Cap Fan Chris Caira Good one Chris I always looked at your Red Skull piece more as a "What If" type scenario!
  7. I asked Geof Isherwood to do a commission for me, and this was the final result... I am extremely happy with how it turned out!
  8. I got my first commission from Josh Medors. I think he did an amazing job!
  9. Well Zeck covers are a little out of my price range right now, but I am extremely happy that I got this pinup today... It was actually published in Captain America #50 (Vol 3): A couple of interesting tidbits: The page was actually drawn on a DC/Vertigo board, but Zeck drew the pinup on the backof the board. It does have the Marvel stamp in the back though... Another interesting note is that, in the back, there's a handwritten note that says "Return To: " and then Mike Zeck's address. It also has Zeck's signature in the back.
  10. Here's my latest cap cover, by Dave Hoover, showing poor Cap beat up... It's by Dave Hoover (pencils and inks)
  11. Got the following 3 pieces in the mail this week: Beautiful Splash Page by Greg Scott and Dan Green from the Captain America 2000 Annual Great cover by Brian Postman and Joe Sinnott of the Captain America Annual #7 Finally, a really nice Sal Buscema Spectacular Spider-Man cover:
