  3. Hi does you know how/where I may order a copy of thanks ----- UPDATE I have just discovered a couple of nice blog posts about minis' and Bruce Chrislip: http://larryrippeeandmollyreaart.blogspot.com/2013/10/larrys-vault-mini-history-of-mini-comics.html http://larryrippeeandmollyreaart.blogspot.com/2013/10/treasury-of-mini-comics.html and http://larryrippeeandmollyreaart.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-history-of-mini-comix.html (with an address)
  4. Budget is always an issue. There are a couple of lovely items on ebay right now, for ~500$ each, really too much for me. I got the Gothic Blimp Works years ago for decent prices, they are not so uncommon on ebay (or abebooks).
  5. There are several copies on e-bay. What would you consider fair market prices? This one https://www.ebay.com/itm/186064558466, looks pretty good, for a decent price.
  6. Today's addition to my UG collection. I have been looking for it for years. I am very very happy.
  7. A nice book, and a bold historical selection (and a wrong date too?)
  8. I attended a book presentation with Crumb in Lucca, Italy, a few years ago, and he commented with disdain that somebody at Playboy (Hefner himself?) had demanded that Kurtzman redraw some details of some of his tables. For sure, Kurtzman was a giant, and Crumb's respect is deserved and due.
  9. Gamut #1 (Gary Delain, 1960), early (earliest?) contribution from Robert Crumb, by a 5-page Winnie the Phoo parody. Sold on Heritage Auction for $ 840 (2023 August 3, Harvey Kurtzman & The Art of Humbug Comic Art Showcase Auction, lot #81073) On May 12, 2006 a (different) copy of Gamut #1 was sold for $3,107.00 (lot #3218). Very nice item.
  10. Too beautiful ones! Very nice lot, congratulations.
  11. Artista galego Victor Moscoso (Vilaboa, Oleiros, 1936) !!!! https://fundacionluisseoane.gal/gl/publicacions/moscoso-cosmos-o-universo-visual-de-victor-moscoso/
  12. special effects technician? that would be quite good. You got me! It is difficult to hide my accent. The Bogeyman ones, or the C... one? uhm, uhm, maybe you are not a special effects technician .... take care ps. if you have/see an extra copy of CounterMedia Special Issue (Winter 1991-92), please let me know.
  13. I see. I was not aware about and miss the special issue, too bad! Thanks to let me know.
  14. According to Google, creepy = causing an unpleasant feeling of fear or unease. I was just curious if you have a professional interest, say as a criminal lawyer, a criminologist, or a policeman, or maybe ... :-). Sorry, I didn't mean to open a thread about personal matters. Forget.
  15. Hi, maybe you may list it here. I am sure some of us are curious on what you may have. Anyway, I buy on e-bay, and I am generally very satisfied.
  16. Thanks. I see, interesting collection, tough a little creepy indeed. Do you collect them for professional reasons?
  17. Ops, I miss one, I have issues 4, 5, 6 and 7. Is there a issue 8? Please check https://www.comicsreporter.com/index.php/briefings/commentary/7977
  18. It is a three (or four?) run, they failed to start from issue 1, didn't they? It is a little, very nice mag indeed.
  19. Maybe just a couple of pictures of the shelves? That would be great. (if you feel like to show, I respect your privacy)
  20. I see, Thanks. (Now, kind of curious about your books collection :-) )
  21. ya, correct, and I missed it :-( Was that on paper, I just see a Kindle edition? https://www.patrickrosenkranz.info/jim-osborne does not say too much about the book.
  22. https://www.ebay.it/itm/385111405314 if you miss it, I suggest to get it; a nice, early proof of scholarship by Rosenkranz. See his web site at https://www.patrickrosenkranz.info/underground-comix, a lot of nice, important stuff. I just realize that it has already been 20 years since he wrote his seminal Rebel Visions. Really, it is so short.
