  1. Personally I don't think its worth it because he is getting older and the quality of the art is starting to suffer a bit. But if you really need to get a piece from him then it is what it is...might be your only shot.
  2. Sick collection man! Love the video game theme...keep up the good work and looking forward to what you add next!
  3. Got my first 9.9 last year. Census shows 5 but as far as I know I think mine is the only one with a remark. And it was the first one artist Johnny Desjardins remarked in his WhatNot stream when the book released.
  4. He is better than Todd and Lee. Where is Lee now? and Todd is to busy making toys come on now...
  5. I also dig Metalhead. Got this one from Johnny Desjardins. Love it!
  6. Yup, and thats also how I feel about Rob Liefeld. Zeck was a little before my time. I grew up on Rob's art, and it also blew my mind in the early 90's and I still love his stuff till this day. I dont care what anyone thinks
  7. I am a huge Zech fan. As a big Punisher fan, I grew up loving his covers. But I agree with you, some of the faces, like the Captain America images up there can look a little funky. Still love his art though.
  8. I recently picked up a GI Joe piece myself. Here is a un-used cover for Snakes Eyes Deadgame #1 by Rob Liefeld. It’s just a tad bit different from the cover he actually decided to publish for the book. Super stoked to own another piece from my favorite artist. He also signed and added his chizel sig at the bottom just like the published OA. The second pic is the actual OA he went with, which I don’t own.
  9. Agreed. If the actor did it then we are talking. Done by the cover artist is kind of whatever.
  10. Everything Marvel and DC suck nowadays. Actually other publishers have kind of followed their lead. They have gone away from what has made them great after all these years. Instead of catering to the true fans they have tried to cater to everyone to the point that we do not recognize the characters/stories we once loved. I don't buy many comics now for that reason. Outside of The Last Ronin, I have no interest in reading any or the modern stuff. I have found a new joy in collecting original art work from my favorite artist and the occasional hard cover of past great stores. Unless comic shops pivot, they will suffer because many of the diehards don't come in anymore to buy the modern stuff. All I see now are re-sellers digging around trying to find a variant cover or spec book to flip
  11. Do you know what titles will be interlocking? Those are the ones I plan on following.
  12. Good points up there. Art Adams is very good and yes the style of art from the late 80's and early 90's was a fresh take at the time. Even though it was very un-realistic and exaggerated it was very dynamic and exciting. To this day I still enjoy it even though you can definitely point out some flaws.
  13. I felt the same way about this cover. I would pay retail $5. Thats is. Actually even then I would not buy it because I have zero interest in it
  14. Wow those are all some of the worst things I have ever seen Makes me wonder who signed off on this stuff... I think I could have been a cover artist after looking at this !
  15. Agreed. Todd did a great Spiderman but his human characters looked awful. Crazy how he never good called out considering how much hate Liefeld gets.
  16. Yup and the fact that it took forever for them to drop the new animated season just kind of took the steam out of the train for me. I tried to watch season 2 the other day and I was just not hyped for it at all. In fact I felt bored and ended up just watching YouTube videos
