  1. Now that you mention it, the bottom right corner does look like it's missing a piece. However it still looks sealed to me. I took more pictures and it does look warped like you said.
  2. Is it normal to have some parts of the inner well appearing white/frosty instead of clear like the rest of the inner well border? I bought this book online and have never seen this with any of my other slabs before.
  3. Hi everyone! I just got this comic off ebay and I noticed it has these brown spots on the covers, but not on the inside pages. I read online that this is foxing. So my question is if this is contagious or not? I put it inside a mylite 2 bag with a full back board, along with 3 pieces of microchamber paper. I figure the paper will keep the oxygen levels down so whatever caused the foxing won't spread. Now will that be enough to keep this comic and the rest of my comics safe from any further foxing assuming I keep my comics stored properly? Thanks in advance for the help!
  4. I wasn't sure what it was in the first place, which is why I posted here. Once it was clarified that it was a color rub I knew a press wouldn't fix it. Thanks for the clarification on the grade though ??
  5. I was looking at a Spawn 9 Newsstand on ebay and I see there is a white streak on the upper right of the back cover. Does anyone know what that is? how it could have been caused? or if it can come off with a pressing? Thanks in advance everyone :)
  6. I was going to have this pressed but I would like hear everyones thoughts on what the grade will be before and after pressing. I see a couple of creases but they don't appear to be breaking color. There are also impressions that are on the bottom left Spidey logo. They go into the inside pages as well but none of them made any punctures. I figure all these can be pressed out but my main concern comes with the back cover. On the top right of the back corner you can see what appears to be some sort of stain. it's strange though because it is on the inside of the back and front covers as well, yet is not present on the pages of the comic and does not show up on the front cover. Is it possible that it's not a stain but some sort of discoloration? Perhaps it can come out with a pressing? Other than what I've pointed out I don't see anything major wrong with the comic. It doesn't have any chipping and all the corners look pretty good. Thanks in advance everyone for your input.
  7. Looks like at least a 5 to me. I don't think the x will be a problem if cgc recognizes it as a store marking. I had two old comics graded, one with a date stamp and the other with two lines. neither of the marks were acknowledged in the grader notes.
  8. I appreciate the input, but I am at the right site. I am simply asking what everyone thinks the value of a superman 75 platinum edition is.
  9. Greetings everyone! I am interested in buying a Superman 75 platinum edition but I don't know what they really go for. I see them starting at $150+ on ebay. Not sure if that's a good price or not though. Any pricing help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  10. Hi Gator! Hopefully I winded up in the right place here. I am looking for an Amazing Spider-Man #5. I will be attending NYCC all days this weekend and heard that you might be as well. I was told you might be able to hook me up with an ASM #5 for sale. I would love to buy it at the convention if you could help find me one for sale. My goal is to have it signed and graded. My price range for the comic is $400. I was looking for a comic that would grade at around a 5.0. Off white-white pages would be cool too. Would you be able to help me out? I'd greatly appreciate any and all help. Thank you
  11. Now does making a window bag insult the person you want to sign the comic? For example I want Stan Lee to sign an Amazing Spider-Man 5, but I don't want it to get beat up during and after him signing it. More importantly I want to determine the exact place where he signs it. At the Same time I don't want to offend Stan Lee. Any thoughts or experience with this?
  12. Hi here is the link to what I'm talking about. I'd love to buy it if anyone knew where I could.
