  1. I would argue that this is not an absolute truth for every book. Quality media will help a book retain its value and following. The book might see a correction, sure, but will also create a stronger attachment with the audience. Their are books/media however, where pump and dump is rampant. Especially since anyone can blog, tweet, post a book to oblivion for hype and FOMO.
  2. Worried about what? How easy it is to sell? Being scammed? Getting fair market value? I think if you were sell on the boards, or through ComicLink, Heritage, Comic connect, etc., you have very little to worry about.
  3. I would make both trades, for the X-men 1 and the ASM 300. Personally, I’m happier with the bigger grails in my collection than the minor ones. Over time, I’m more willing to part with and have less affection for my minor keys.
  4. Movies driving up book prices makes sense. A bronze book with a huge print run doubling in price in three months with no media hype is uncharacteristic. It’s like comics have evolved to meme stock status.
  5. It does me. This was a 6k - 7k book just a few months ago; with no news of a movie/tv show reboot that I’m aware of the run up seems unwarranted. But I guess you could say that at just about any key in any age with this market.
  6. A 9.2 and 9.0 went for 15k and 13k respectively last night on CLink. Wowzers!
  7. Love this remark placement! Looks like Venom has a second head from a mutation
  8. Also bought this one from @jimjum12 years ago. He has the BEST taste in westerns!
  9. I don't own the comic, but own the OA. Reminds me of GGA. I prefer it black and white over the color published version - gives it a noir vibe.
  10. This full context helps. Sometimes you can buy cbcs cheaper because they are not deemed as reputable as cgc (subjective). So for a personal collection you could probably buy a cbcs book cheaper than a CGC book in the same grade. where as for selling, CGC might sell faster and for a better price due to reputation.
  11. Delete Facebook. It’s not good for anyone.
  12. This board can be so salty and lack class sometimes. Give constructive feedback instead of snarky remarks. You all are a turn off. A buyer can ask whatever they want, and if you don't like it or approve then move on.
  13. Great trailer! I love the dark gritty vibes and brutality of Batman. Glad to see Jeffrey Wright, he is an amazing actor in my option. My only gripe so far is the bat suit. Not really in love with it, but maybe that will change when the movie is seen in its entirety
