  1. I recently bought four slabs from John and the sale went great. Easy to deal with and the shipment packaging was top shelf! strong recommendation if you are considering working with ADAMANTIUM!
  2. Is anyone in the Knoxville TN area to check this out? Listing says the 500 or so comics will be sold in a single lot https://www.estatesales.net/TN/Seymour/37865/3374475
  3. The suggestions here are better - but this is the actual source most likely…. My son had a Marvel wallet and it came in a box similar to this. I found this one on eBay, not the exact same but had to be where this is from. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Marvel-Comics-Tri-Fold-Wallet-Captain-America-Genuine-Leather-with-Box-NEW-/263802147614?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
  4. Just a heads up that I went to Heroes on Sunday only and wore a mask the whole time, but ending up testing positive for Covid yesterday. Not sure if I picked it up there or somewhere else. I barely have any symptoms - just a scratchy throat - but if you are feeling a little off, it might be worth using an at home tests if you have one. Looking forward to next year as the convention lived up to its billing!
  5. For those only going one day - I still see no advance one day ticket, what do you suggest for smoothest entry? Get there an hour early, get in line & there will be tickets to purchase with cash at the door?
  6. Panel schedule is up. Best thing on Sunday would be Claremont and Simonson talking Xmen. Roy Thomas or Jim Starlin on Saturday should be good too. http://www.heroesonline.com/blog/2022/06/18/heroescon-2022-panels-programming/
  7. I’m planning for one day as well. Are single day tickets only available on the day of convention? I didn’t see a pre-sale option for one day. Any tips on how early to get there? Just moved to Charlotte and looking forward to a new convention after going to C2E2 for years in Chicago.
  8. I got these at an estate sale for $2 each. They advertised a FF52 for $800 and said it went right away at that price. I got these 3 days later, including the coverless FF53.
  9. Thanks for sharing the pictures! We skipped it after going the last five years or so. How were the crowds? From the videos and pictures I’ve seen, it looks like it wasn’t as packed as usual.
  10. I’ve always wondered about the placement of Scarlet Witch and Vision’s heads on this cover. Were they moved to make room for the oversized title? Whatever they did, it just doesn’t look right…
  11. 1 year and 30 days to go! I guess we will have to wait a little longer for the next C2E2. A pre-Christmas comic con? Sounds good to me! https://www.c2e2.com/Show-Announcement/
  12. A 1972 book stamped 1973? A rare stamping variant!
  13. I found this at an estate sale last weekend. The date is my mom’s birthday and she would have been about six months pregnant with my sister - so I couldn’t pass this stamp up.
  14. This posting showed up on local estate sale site with only one picture of comics and note that they would take bids via email, and could provide a list of books. I responded and got the list also attached. I didn’t make a bid, figuring the Loki and Morbius books would be out of my budget. On Sunday I got an email saying the winning bid was $3,700 - which surprised me. Maybe the buyer got a chance to look at books to assess their condition, but does this sound like a win for the buyer or seller? I’m thinking the seller is likely pretty happy with the outcome.
