Sorry for the late response everyone, I travel overseas frequently with my company. So I received my first CGC submission which included 3 comics from this dealer, overall happy. They were Hero for Hire #1)Listed as a Hilltop 9.2 White Pages, it came in at CGC 9.4 White Pages.2) Marvel Premiere #1 NM 9.4 Hilltop came in at a CGC 9.4 White Pages, and this one made me really happy, Conan #1 9.2 Hilltop, after a press and clean it came in at CGC 9.6 White Pages. I also got back 5 comics which I purchased from J&S Comics, 4 came back as he graded, 1 came in 1 grade lower. I will now try some of the dealers mentioned on this thread and submit them and see what results I get back and report back here when they arrive, sending them in fast track. Till then, chow.

I recently picked up a raw Spawn 1 listed as a 9.8 as well as a raw Marvel Secret Wars 1 listed as a 9.8 from this dealer https://ebay.com/usr/harleypool I sent in both books along with 18 others to CGC not expecting them to come back as the dealer graded since Ebay is known for having horrible dealers over hyping their books. However, to my surprise, both came back from CGC as 9.8's. There is still some hope on Ebay, not much, but some. Forget facebook and instragram, I got burnt there way to many time with scammers. These chat boards have been a Godsend for me in learning the ins and outs of this hobby. Anyone else have great experiences purchasing raw books on Ebay?

Well this auction ending tonight should tell whether or not this is a good series to speculate on or not. Looks like Foom Magazine is finally getting attention due to CGC recognizing key 1st appearances especially in issues 2,10, and 15. Thoughts on this? I believe this series has the potential to become extremely hot and wouldn't be surprised if some of these books hit 5 figures in the near future. A complete high grade set is hard to come by. I am close to completing a 9.4 set but its taken me quite a while to do so.

And what if the seller doesn't relist knowing that the market is hot now. He may decide to hold off, especially if it's a key book under GPA. May be a case of, you snooze, you lose.

If the book is under GPA then why not purchase it, especially if you really like the book. Given the number of new deadbeats on ebay not paying, you're probably going to lose out on a good item, especially if the seller is reputable. Counter offering him may very well lose you the deal. If it were me, I would take the deal if all I mentioned applies.
