It’s amazing the amount of incredible books in that room. Some of the best and most ambitious dealers in the WORLD displaying at your local comic swap. No massive lines or outrageous entry fees. The Los Angeles and Orange County basins well represented and international superstar Harley Yee, locals Robotman and Jim with just ridiculous amounts of vintage oddball and rarely never seen 40’ and 50’s material at affordable prices. And I heard the Carbonaro effect was in full bloom as well.

Silver Age Sub-Mariner comics & appearances
Cobbledclam replied to Frisco Larson's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
I guess my text was omitted. I was thinking 🤔 Tony Curtis would have been a good candidate for the Jack Kirby version of Sub-Mariner and Jack Lemon could have pulled off Tony stark as he was very much like RJD in his abilities for physical, comedic and dramatic acting. A younger Tony Curtis had that nice eyebrow thing happening that Namor has. Also they both had established chemistry from doing Some Like it Hot together and Iron-Man Sub-Mariner 1 is a great book to have. -

Pulitzer Prize Winning Maus Censored By Tennessee School District
Cobbledclam replied to sfcityduck's topic in Comics General
They must be feeling a bit more emboldened than usual these days. God forbid a child isn’t allowed to read a book that expresses what this mentality flourishes in society. Sick, vile, mentally ill and this is not political it’s personal. I’m certain that there are many on these boards whom have or had family members or their friends that fought and possibly died during WW2 squelching the warped ideology of these disgusting wannabes. -
