I just realized that I have copies of Wolverine: Limited Series 1982 that I never read that are signed (not graded nor COA, another story) but rather than risk not making my money back on those, I went and bought reader (so called) copies today for $10 in short I was embarrased that I had never read the Wolverine Limited Series of 1982 Frank Miller wahoo!!

I went back and bought them since the copies that I had previiously are signed I can use these as reader copies, silver lining and all

I just went by my LCS and they had reader copies (so called) of the Wolverine: Limited Series 1982, 1-4 for $15, they were packaged in a bundle.... I did't buy them idk my signed ones may end up being my readers, but I spent $102 on them way back when....

Hi everyone I'm late to the party, and evidently first prints are something else, to be tallied as such! As first prints are expensive, are 2nd prints worth their salt for TMNT #1? I've just started to research and could use some simple advice, if it is simple. I see at the LCS TMNT's #3 in VF for about $40 and they're sized differently than modern comics. Are they Magazines? or is that what you Sub them under? at what number do they stop being this size #5? LCS also had a #4 for cheap, and of course it's the type of LCS that I don't know what print they are ie 1st 2nd 4th. Also of 1-4 which have multiple prints... idk this is a lot to ask and I understand it's probably common knowledge around here, so if anyone feels the need to pm me rather than take up space here I understand I just hope that I could rap my head around it....and get some knowledge

How about this, I got back into comics, and bought Wolverine the Limited Series #'s 2,3,4 signed by Len Wein on the cover raw. Then I bought #1 and had it signed by Chris Claremont on the cover raw So none of them are CGC'd and not a COA in sight, I could go to Voldermort but they're not worth the price in value, $25 to verify a sig, what a insufficent person without empathy I was, they are, ery'ting is pffft

I signed up for a subscripton of Spiderman Classics when I was young, which is like Marvel Tales, reprints but specifically Spiderman. It had Stan writing, which was first appearances of characters so I felt like I was getting the "full" story. Amazing Spiderman around #170 seemed, when I read it, to be in the middle of what was going on and I was to young to connect the dots. I'm sure the guy has done other stuff, but specifically on the Spiderman, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I guess I misspoke. Maybe it wasn't totally the art, but the books didn't look attractive when I was a kid (single digits) in the 80's. Seeing them in dollar bins didn't make me want to look through and when I did, it might have been tainted with looking at the new stuff. I can't say that I was old enough at the time to appreciate much. I liked JR JR growing up, but didn't know better. I guess the real reason I didn't like them was because it seemed an old style art but not old style writing, so I couldn't really get into it. I also think that around Mcfarlane I was a bit older and it seemed modern. if that makes any kind of sense

LCS believe it or not...plus they were celebrating being in business here in Dallas for 28 years and were having a sale the original price was $20 for each and the sale was all back issues under $75 were 28% off, I had limited funds because of a comic con coming up, so when I found these two I bought them and left before I went over budget (and then theres the 8.25% sales tax ha)

Are you talking about the "dirt" by the staple?? I'm curious too, because I bought a Ms Marvel #17 that is mostly a white cover as well that "looks" dirty like that.....

Yall's put mine to shame, but I rescued this copy today at the low low price of $15.58! I couldn't pass it up at that price, it's a reader so I read it and Darkseid's first allegiance is all it had, ahhhh, no actual Darkseid in comic? Anyway: staples firmly atached, no rust on staples, not brittle thank God, and complete I know it's probably only an investment of sorts in high grade, but at this price I couldn't pass it up wanted to see all the hubub BUB

Oh and not many, it looks like, have sold in low to mid grade....except for raw

I've looked several times to see if the one's that I have, if I got them for a good price. But I think that you said it yourself, it's heated a little, but really ASM 129 has remained constant other than heating a little to secure $100 a point for a minute there. And those are usually CGC copies, as far as a raw go with your gut Basically it has embers, if you know of anything that will stoke the fire let me know... @Readcomix

Got both of these for $15.58 a piece A Poor JO #134 but staples firmly attached and not brittle saved it IMO, I'll show the back then the front and the other is a NM-/+ Ms. M #17, I'll show the front then the back

Snap both cover's were considered 9.8? that's a nice copy
