  1. Had a question about Joe Sinnot, does he always sign in BLACK sharpie, I mean regardless the book? js This isn't new to my collection but is back from CGC anyway feel like I've posted it everywhere
  2. Kudos to Ty Salazaar for getting my FF 49 signed by Joe Sinnot and Stan Lee and my ASM 129 signed by Stan. Thanks Ty for the constant updates and for being patient with me! Take it easy, and hope to see you at the next con
  3. It is now graded and should ship today It was graded CGC 3.0 as far as I know it didn't get any dislcosures for the tape that was on it when I got it that I took off, probably why it graded so low, but at least it is yellow label with the only disclosure Signed by Stan Lee and Mark Jeweler Insert at least I didn't end up getting any "restoration" I didn't have to invest too much into it either, I still have my ASM 134 MJI at CGC should be back in a couple of weeks :0 with my ASM 135 MJI I'll have the short run I was going for. Post a pic when I get it, though with no scanner that'll do CGC graded items it'll be a low quality pic.... After a long wait the white pages makes it worth it the light refracks but it is a quality Stan sig not shaky and is readable, the only thing that I was a tidbit upset about was Romita was also supposed to sign but he cancelled........also all the sigs were in black sharpie which I guess I don't mind on the ASM 129 but on my FF 49 it is hard to read the Joe Sinnot....
  4. Been since June 2016 but finally got them back The ASM got white pages, the Stan sig is readable on both and not shaky, But on the FF 49 the sigs are all in black sharpie, which makes it hard to read Joe Sinnot, also Romita was supposed to sign the ASM 129 but he cancelled
  5. Went to support my local comic book store and a local comic book artist http://www.robertwilsoniv.com/
  6. I remember them being discussed for Batman DC Universe Rebirth 1 I do believe that they are sitting on plenty of Turner sketches, now whether they're complete or how complete they are idk, as someone is always sharing credit for the color edition as compared to the black and white---with the batman rebirth anyway Do funds go to the family, don't know, but suredly unless Turner was paid for them before he passed
  7. He could at least give an option for CGC like some artists do...for those that can't make it to cons...because then your not paying for a "grade", your taking just as much a chance as anyone else that orders a nonsigned and then taking it to a con, but some of you have thought this through and have great points If he wanted to make it easier does "he" even have a good option to provide it? perhaps not... some would say they were "cherry picked" for the sigs instead of unsigned, none of us here, I don't think, are going to come up with a "perfect" solution..... But it'd be nice to hear "his" thoughts is all....and surely the thought has crossed his mind, so I don't know, I'm not complaining, might as well buy the unsigned and go to a con....
  8. That is what Neal Adams does, just fills out a form. You can order a signed comic and then add an option for $20 that he'll fill out a form and send it to CGC to give you a yellow label, but you have to pay CGC on your account for them to grade etc. I guess all I'm saying is it can be done... Also in the signature room it was posted that Todd Mcfarlane's (son?) relative sells on ebay Todd's sigs and sketch's that appear to be raw and CGC just posted it graded.....yellow label.....and rumor has it that Todd just sent from him straight to CGC and filled a form out
  9. On second thought CGC'ing may be a pain because how would he garauntee grades, or get the exclusives back from CGC soon enough before everyone's forgotten the specific comic and then they don't sell, losing him money Maybe this is why he would need a facilitator? I guess he could wait until they're ordered and then send with the form to CGC, but it would be a long time getting them back and may have some order cancellations etc. idk js wish there was some way, instead of signing and COA...
  10. I thought that they could just fill out a CGC form? So instead of a "person witness"...I (think that is what you mean by "facilitator") instead of going through the process of printing out a COA etc. that had to be a hassle when he first started that...and he has to "print" a new one for every different book, I always thought that the reason that he didn't do CGC was because he "didn't want to ahem sell out and make it expensive" or that is what I heard somewhere, probably heresay but just a thought, I wouldn't have the guts to ask him in person at a con so I don't blame anyone else not wanting to ask ....
  11. I had bought Marvel Premiere 16 (not mark jeweler) Nice to see that in 17 Iron Fist got to the citadel. I couldn't afford 15 at the time and since 16 was cheap I bought it. I had never really read an Iron Fist comic....so I read 16 since it was the second part of the origin, at the end of the book it said citadel was next, I never thought to google 17 to see the cover would make an interesting read none the less
  12. Got an email from campbell website, Venom 3 variant can be ordered- signed on January 21st 9 am mountain time, only comes signed -- $175 I don't think that a lot of people liked it but heads up anyway in case no one has talked about it nor checked their email yet anybody thought about asking Campbell through instagram or facebook, whichever he responds to most often, if he would consider offering a service to get the books SS'd with CGC?? like neal adams and perhaps other artists do... I mean a COA is okay and all but idk
  13. Mine was economy non fast track as well, so maybe the turnaround times have or will continue to shorten and what they quoted me was during when they were on the way to catching up, either way it should be soon for you
  14. I'm curious too I had some comics at CGC and called and got one pulled to send for pressing, they told me turnaround times could be up to 4 months AND they seemed pretty certain... I called to get one pulled last week, so I don't know when yours were submitted or if they have been yet but maybe that will give you "some idea"

  16. I don't know of course, but I feel bad for the winner of this auction; with "minor color touch" in the description. hmmmm looks to be VF- to VF, and I don't know much about the higher ended IH 181's http://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-181-Vol-1-Super-High-Grade-1st-App-of-Wolverine-w-Marvel-Stamp-/201775609617?hash=item2efac37711:g:rm0AAOSwo4pYcDid
  17. HAHAAAHA NO WORRIES Seriously though no worries, we can all take a second to celebrate MLK day
  18. for 50 bucks or whatever, there's plenty of value, IMO I agree it just left me wanting more it isn't a diss more of a that was good now let me try other games that I couldn't get my parents to buy/rent when I was 7 years old but I hear you though
  19. I was dissapointed that when you turn it on there was not a way to go online and purchase more games or a game list of others etc I love the games they have it brought back memories but still give me more. Makes me think they'll have another one in the future with different games idk
  20. I'm In (this will be my first time playing:) , so we pm you with the grades we assign the books that are in scans, correct? I need to be good at this anyway, so thanks! )
  21. makes sense about OA so thanks, I didn't really know how it worked. If someone could fabricate OA then they Could in Theory fabricate documents. I had looked into it with Neal Adams and his convention quickies, sketchcards etc.; I emailed them about COA' type stuff and the general feel that I got was basically there were none. I don't know why, but I always thought with published peice's there would be some kind of documentation considering how expensive, one of a kind, and etc.....
