What happens when a lot or all ASM 129's are graded already, such is the case with most GSXM #1's....I don't know does it make you feel like your just buying a grade label. Maybe I'm overthinking, I just like to speculate a grade and send it to CGC,,,, But with popular books that are sent to CGC in mass quantities (Coneheads) if you have a low grade of such collector's issues, will it be more of a selling point to sell non-graded? when you part with them, I'm overthinking this aren't I ?

Copper's Heating/Selling Well on Ebay

My sarcasm switch is busted, but isn't X-force 11 the 1st appearance of what CGC calls the "real" domino? just for clarification, is the Domino in #8 thereby a fake? I did get Xforce 11 graded by my own submission (was cheaper) I did that because I did it with the punisher and seemed of similar importance to me (anyway ) just the way I've been collecting for my own personal collection, not pump and dump...too many out there for ever to gain traction unless (like similar ASM 134, 135) "NO" one gets them graded and in 30 years there are not many high grades anymore.... -

wahoo!! that's a nice copy! especially if you've let people get close enough to sneeze I'm tempted to get a copy (but might settle on a Neal Adams Convention quickie OA...)

Especially diggin' the Amazing Man Classic goodness

I'm liking the Punishers!! and I assume the Harley is SS by Neal Adams? I had my own first SS submission back in June, hope you had fun

well that sucks...haha no worries I have a 3.5 FF48 to compare it to, but I think that it will be around 2.5- 3.0 cause the tears are deeper. They are only on the cover though and like I said off-white to cream pgs.....while my FF tears are not quite as deep into the cover as this IH181 it did have chips on the corners and the pages were cream/tanning etc. and almost kinda brittle... I'm not going to complain on this IH181 it'll get what it does, but I have a signed copy at 2.5 and was just hoping for this one to be 2.5 or higher blue label goodness..

Wolverine The Best There Is #1 Dell Otto went for some change in 9.8 recently and there are very few in the registry period. Only 7, 9.8's -
My only contribution to Dell' 'Otto that I know of....in fact I didn't even remember I had this....I love his artwork but I didn't know the name at the time. Thanks to the boards I know more, wahoo The best there is was kinda weird but I have the full run, guess I was into it...at the time

Does anybody think these scans are good enough for future questions?? I think the scan got everything shown other than a tear near price, I'll still hope for a 3.0 - 3.5 Meaning what do you think, now? and... If scans are good enough, I now know how to "use" my scanner just want to make sure that they are "good enough" scans if I need to post future questions about books...?

Stands next to my Batman Aspen Turner #1, they look similar even though the statue was JAE LEE I might have to put statues in this area more, I like the shadow bat ears

ya put it in the wrong thread on accident...clicked the wrong doohicky, saw "grading" in this title and thought I was clicking on "spare a grade"----sorry I would move it to the "spare a grade" but can't seem how to even delete this thread....I apologize for the mixup- thank you for the estimable grade anyway and your patience. I appreciate it

it looked as though it might pass for off-white to white in bright lighting, now seams there might be a little cream in there The staples are firmly attached and has value stamp-book complete has a tear at top left near price, not sure how long it is didn't measure but it seems to be a little longer than one that I had that came back 6.5 if that helps... whatever you call it near staples only one goes back toward the back cover, should be noticable in pics also there seems to be "ripples" up close on the back upper right? maybe it got damp?it does not go to the back page...just back cover.... anyway, I'm thinking 3.5 but I don't know if that is conservative or not....

ditto what I wrote in "this week in collection", posting here cause I just got them back from CGC sent off-----June 22nd '16

I am probably late to the party, otherwise expect a lot to come on sale now. Been 4 months since I sent these, sounds about right. I enjoyed the artwork, as I am new to Michael Turner, but I'm tempted to sell the sketch cover to recoupe all the costs of the books and CGC costs. I am not really a flipper though and my family and friends like the sketch (Turner's actual doodle) better and think I'll regret if I sell...

Sweet I am wondering what will happen when copper age's like NM 98 become commonly CGC'd in 7.0 and lower. I have a 7.0 myself....as well as a 9.0 but will, as deapool develops in character in movies and comics etc., be found more in lower grades and as expensive as what is being commonly sold now? I've also thought about when all these popular or trendy comics such as BA 12 and IH81, yes their key's, are all for sale already CGC'd----example Xmen 94 & GSXM 1 how that will be sold or marketed----I haven't seen the market for Xmen 94 OR GSXM 1 very long but right now there seem's to be a dip in price but all seem to be CGC'd already so basically I think it takes the "fun?" out of it, being that your just buying a "grade" idk just something I think about

Thanks sorry for the horrible pic's but it was late, I have yet to get one above 5.0 I'll upgrade sooner or later depending on populatity of the book, will IH 181 hang steady and climb in the future is the question, one can hope

Got a new one this week no worries it will survive unscathed of a SS hopefully a little better than a 2.5
