    I’ve received books that were properly packed and hardly any damage to the box, and the cases were cracked. Think its really hit or miss on the damage.

    How do you manage a 75 cent box? If the seller packages properly and the book is still damaged, in most cases a refund is still granted. A loss either way, raw or slabbed.

    Agreed. Sellers tend to get blamed when packages end up damaged. Thus a loss via a refund and a book. Opposite side, you get your money back but no book. Hope all is well inside the box.

    If only I had something worth 50k, that would be nice. I’m sure it will stay under 5k, probably closer to 3k at most, maybe.

    I’ll be holding on to mine unless a need to sell arises. Most I have are related to his stories or at least characters he’s created. He had to be involved somehow, not just any marvel book, but there again that could work too if it’s of personal value. To each there own.

    Would pressing a book of this age cause damage to the book or a signature?

    Sounds good. I might just use this option and add insurance. I don’t plan on selling this book but trying to have a signature added so not sure of the exact cost. Probably going to take a look at gpa for an idea of value.
