I’ve tried and unfortunately, digital books don’t work for me. There’s something about being able to hold and flip the pages of an actual book. I’m a tactile person.

I actually don’t have a copy. I like the cover and of course I’m a Dell’otto fan so was hoping to get one in English. I borrowed the picture as a reference. I think it’s in French. Might just have to get a copy of either the German or French version. Just searched on eBay and saw a couple listings.

I was referred to this thread. I’m pretty sure this is a Dell’otto cover and couple boardies confirmed it too. Does anyone know if this cover has been printed for any of the English Bats series?

I’ve been looking for this cover in English with no luck. Does anyone know if this cover was used in the as a cover in the Bats series in English?

Yea, it’s looking like tpb is the way I’ll be going from now on. I like to read my books. If I get older ages books I don’t usually read them just hang on to them for value, but not many in my collection. Might attempt to sell a few from my boxes on here or eBay to make space for better things. Planning for the future..

I agree. I usually don’t post feedback until the buyer has. If they don’t then I don’t. Thankfully I’ve only had one issue with a buyer on eBay, they didn’t pay and I lost the sale as a result. Resisted and sold later for less... so I’m a bit bitter. Both buyers and sellers are at risk, just depends on what side your on when it happens.

Darn! I just submitted a book for pressing through CGC, it’s a 1:500. Hope it comes back ok. Didn’t know that CCS was having problems. Don’t know of any other pressing companies..

By investment I mean resale value, so if selling becomes necessary which is better for gain. Selling is looking like more of a reality at the moment. I’ve got short boxes full of single issues, but I’m running out of space and need to start prepping for other life changes. So space is a must. I don’t mind waiting to read stories if needed. In short, I need to conserve and make more space.

Back again with another question. So I’m a big modern collector with a few other ages here and there but nothing I’d consider substantial. My question: in terms value and cost, which is better to invest in for long term prospect, the single issues or the compiled tpb? I’m sure I know the answer, but figured I’d ask the more experienced. Thanks!
