  1. There is a new price point for AF15 how hard is that to accept. Yes there are many copies up for sale and most are doing just fine and a lot better than even 1-2 years ago. Some are selling for less than some record prices but that is to be expected when a market sets a new tone. Some people over pay some people under pay and some people pay exactly what it is that is how markets grow. How long are people going to call this a ''bubble'' it has been like this for a year or so. Bubble. bubble and more bubble talk....how about 2-3 years from now....will some still wonder if it is a bubble. If it was any other SA key I would maybe agree but AF15 sells and even if the market is full right now they for the most are still selling (especially threw auctions that start and end with no reserve. All this trying to get out before the ceiling falls is non sens. Most are keeping their copies. Very few out of the 10 000 copies or so that exist are up for sale. I would venture to guess not even 1% of them are up for sale at any given time.
  2. The king will fall then rise then fall then rise some more....sound familiar!!
  3. Why do you even bother with this hobby as a dealer if you only see the market falling over time? I would not want a job with a company that I know will fail. Where do you want this market to end up seriously? Promote selling then tell people hey it's going to fall....never seen that before must be a new marketing strategy. It would be like buying a new car while the guy just says your going to lose so much on this but hey buy it and you will be happy and that is what matters with a huge fat grin on his face. Don't worry about the money my ''friend'' it's all about the fun!! What kind of dealer are you do you just want to be the one making profits and as far as your clients go their payoff should only be happiness of owning comic books and never to make any kind of money out of it.
  4. You don't think the Asian market can be a serious market just a bubble market? Say even 1 million people start collecting over there out of more than 2 billion that is not even 1%. That is only 1 nation some other nation or nations might get involved over time as well.
  5. Here is a nice looking CGC 5.0 up on Ebay but with a reserve. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/AMAZING-FANTASY-15-CGC-5-0-UNRESTORED-OLD-LABEL/222702438954?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140616153237%26meid%3Ddb4ac223e0514435b4e56b371ea62df1%26pid%3D100167%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D132383819442&_trksid=p5411.c100167.m2940
  6. It's a sad part of grading companies buyers almost only buy what they see and that is the front cover. Best to buy the grader's notes as well.
  7. That looks very nice even nicer than the 6.5 that sold tonight.
  8. Geez I paid 8400$ for my very nice looking 6.0 BB28 but this one that sold tonight had a weak spine all the way threw from top to bottom. Mine does not. Both have the exact same PQ.
  9. I don't agree. SA books can easily be found without the ''Cream'' PQ. This is not the GA. BB28, SC4 and SC22 would be the exceptions but they are not rare like GA books for sure. Still scarcer compared to the Marvel keys.
  10. Agreed that was just to much money. Like I said when a major increase happens some lose and some don't. But over time that book should fair OK.
  11. Well BB28 CGC 6.0 hit a low tonight at 6450$. The time of the year seems to affect sales a lot I guess Gator was right.
  12. Well it sold for a a low of 6450$. The cheapest I have seen a 6.0 sell for in a long while.
  13. PQ matters to me the only SA keys I don't mind if they have the word cream as far as PQ goes are the scarcer DC books. But even then I try to buy better PQ if it is possible at that time.
  14. Exactly!! There has been a drop but the prices are not going to go back to 2015 prices and earlier unless something major happens in the world.
  15. Yeah that white line on the 7.0 bothers my eyes.
  16. Even at 67k it is still a huge increase in value compared to say even 2 years ago.
  17. I did not dig that top staple at all and the ''cream'' pages either but hey that is just me.
  18. And we can say well it's the time of the year things are always slower.
  19. Sold for 67 000$ seems pretty cheap for no MC compared to what similar 7.0's have sold for recently.
  20. This BB28 CGC 6.0 ends in a few short hours and is at 6450$. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3Dbrave%2Band%2Bthe%2Bbold%2B28%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1206854&id=1206854&itemType=0
  21. This AF15 CGC 6.5 is closing in less than 50 minutes bidding so far is at 62 000$. Wonder what it will close at I guess we will find out soon enough. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3Damazing%2Bfantasy%2B15%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1211877&id=1211877&itemType=0
  22. That is good to know but sad for the hobby!!
