Thanks everyone for the nice comments. As far as the lights go, yes, they are halogens. However, the bright light you see in some pictures is from the camera flash, not them. They are on high-watt dimmers and turned to about 25%. There are also fluorescents in the ceiling with UV tube filters and diffusers that I typically use.

Here are some pics of my just completed geek room. When we bought our house, this was a sewing room with pink carpet and flower wallpaper. My wife was generous enought to let me transform it and even helped me hang lights and assemble display cases. Warning: I'm also a vintage Star Wars collector, so if you're anti-Sw then please ignore these pictures. Thanks for the compliments. I started out trying to grab up keys, but I became interested in the pedigrees the more I learned about them, and that's all I go after now. It's nice when you can grab up a pedigree key, but I'm happy whenever I can get any book, especially an early Detective. Of course, even limiting collecting to pedigrees still leaves a huge amount of material available compared to my available $$.

I've been interested in comics since I was 16, but got into Golden Age heavily about 3 years ago. The 'Tec 31 is a moderate 9.2 and the 35 is the Larson slight 9.2 from the Heritage auction. Preferred submitter bump? I believe the book was well deserving of this grade. I am very happy to own this book; it is a key GA Timely, and I am a huge Larson fan. As I'm sure you're aware of "Pedigree Man", Larsons were notorious for foxing and rusty staples.

I wish somebody wouldn't have scribbled on the front... Maybe that's why I got such a bargain on it
