  1. The original art to this hulk cover exists. Cool Lines had it and the interior pages for sale around 2021 I think. Thanks everyone for clarifying what production art is.
  2. "Herb Trimpe The Incredible Hulk #121 Cover Production Art (Marvel, | Lot #92383 | Heritage Auctions" https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/miscellaneous/herb-trimpe-the-incredible-hulk-121-cover-production-art-marvel-1969-/a/7039-92383.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 Please excuse my ignorance but can someone please explain the difference? Is production art all photocopies? Whereas original art the artist draws and inks on the Bristol board?
  3. Tommy B , dubbed the best looking collector in comics by Highgradecomics.com Bob Storms, Tommy B ,if you still ever are on the boards, can you please verify/ clarify??
  4. Maybe brulato has acquired a 9.8 which isn't yet on the census and is thus selling his 9.6? Or brulato is not the seller...
  5. Great find greggy 👌 Do you know the date that trade took place? Can't find that in the scoop article....
  6. Great sales recording Tim👍 I remember now that ff1 diamond run cgc9.4 sale for $80k. Puts the AF 15 CGC 9.0 sale in perspective....back then a 9.2 was about double the value of a 9.0 and a 9.4 double the value of a 9.2. So $35k for that AF 15 then was considered way above current market value
  7. Absolutely incredible isn't it? This is a $400k book today?
  8. Was the considered a crazy high price for a 9.0 AF 15 IN 2002? I Remember X-Men 1 CGC 9.0selling for around $10k at that time
  9. This is THE highlight of the silver Age comics offered so far and possibly all the comics in the auction. Is Barton Landsman the seller?
  10. https://www.cgccomics.com/resources/pedigree/curator/ reputedly the curator collection original owner sold their collection to fund a sex change operation . If you search Matt Nelson and curator collection you may find more details
  11. 12. "Bob Burden Flaming Carrot Comics #15 Cover Original Art (Renegade | Lot #93659 | Heritage Auctions" https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/covers/bob-burden-flaming-carrot-comics-15-cover-original-art-renegade-press-1987-/a/7099-93659.s Besides #15, anyone seen any other published FC covers? For sale or in private collections?
  13. I agree with JJJ but I think this page is going to get Miller prices....because it's key ....or do bidders not know it's mainly Jansons art
  14. So just to clarify, Miller did some cursory penicil layouts but most of the detailed pencil and ink work is Janson?
  15. Will those glue stains damage the paper and will they spread with time? Should they be professionally removed and if they are does that affect the arts value?
