I received the 5 books I sent in last week. All 5 were slabbed 9.8. Four out of the five stayed at 9.8. The fifth book was 8.0 with grader notes saying full water stain back left of cover. I called them soon as that was posted and am waiting on CS to finish the investigation. The inner well of the book is trashed. I will be sending it back for a regrade as there is visibly no water stain on the back. I know that's the risk we take letting the CGC folks crack and handle the books, but I would still like to know what happened.
