  1. I know I have personally provided the proper documentation (proof) where I have purchased CGC comics from online dealers and also where I have made private deals with with CGC members on the WTB forum. GPA analysis will accept it if buyers can properly document their purchase. At least this is my experience.
  2. CGC "lost" my books! Sorry felt the need to get this right. Your quotation marks were placed incorrectly.
  3. This is the most egregious example of Woozy's image ruining a fantastic cover. What could the artist been thinking? An amazing work of art absolutely destroyed by Woozy's cartoonish image.
  4. Wow! I would have to definitely place him in the top 5.
  5. However, had it not been for Batman & Robin, we would have never seen this Duo!
  6. The problem was is they replaced the Human Torch with the wrong Herbie. Had it been Herbie, the Fat Fury that would have been beautiful! Fantastic Four & Fat Fury! Perfect!
  7. Just like in the real world, life is also not fair in the super hero world. Spider-Man gets to save Mary Jane & Gwen all the time while Plastic Man had to keep bailing out Woozy's fat butt.
  8. I would guess that just as many would argue that Robin is also the best sidekick of all time which would disqualify him as being the worst of all time. No one is going to argue that Woozy is the best sidekick of all time. Woozy is the worst of the worst!
  9. I just purchased Plastic Man #49 and was getting ready to post it in the This Week in my Collection thread when I ran across the Most Unpopular Super Hero thread in the Golden Age forum. That inspired me to start this thread. My nomination has to be Plastic Man's sidekick, Woozy Winks. His image has runied so many great Plastic Man covers! I was able to ignore it enough on this particular cover to still make the purchase. If you replace his image with a hot chick laying on the mad scientist's table this comic instantly turns into a comic that sells for way, way more. Am I right? Please post your candidate for the title of Worst Sidekick. Good luck beating Woozy!
  10. I was getting ready to post my CGC copy of this issue and make the same point! For this cover alone, I would not place the Green Lama in the lame super hero category. Definitely an amazing Mac Raboy cover!
  11. Yea, you're right it could likely be a qualfied grade. If they give it an universal label does it automatically make it a .05 or could it grade higher? It is a golden age comic.
  12. Not sure the reasoning behind why someone would have done this to the book. The last page was clipped across the top at the ink line. The only thing I can surmise is the owner wanted the title of the book to appear on the inside when it was open? - See pictures. Anyway my real question is will CGC either consider this restoration or deem it to be incomplete and recieve a lower grade? Clearly this was not the usually trim job in an attempt to improve the appearance of the book. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks to all who respond!
