  1. Well you could dispute charges or stop payment on the check. You just wouldn't be able to submit books(etc) to them anymore. Unless enough people did this all at the same time, as a coordinated dispute over their lack of services provided, and they were forced to change their policies. (Extremely unlikely)
  2. Is anyone here located in the UK? There is a book on ebay that I would like to purchase, but it says the seller doesn't ship to the US..
  3. That does make sense. Yes so far all of these are in and around the death of superman.
  4. The reason I strayed away from the idea of them being from Eastern News and ended back at my though of the European Norm, was as you stated the first 5 being for distributors and from previous found other "EN" barcodes some have the same first 5 , while others do not.
  5. Although I have spent a lot of time trying to find more information about these "EN" barcodes, the specifics have eluded me. The closest "educated guess that I could offer is that the "EN" represents the European Norm for barcode quality grading (EN 1635) which was published in 1995 . Not to be confused with the EAN European Article Number. The EN 1635 has been withdrawn and replaced by ISO/IEC 15416 around 2000.
