  1. The last auction, they had a Incredible Hulk 5 and 6 in a 9.0 with a scan of the front and I emailed requesting a scan of the back. It took a week but they were sent well before the auction started so I had time for a closer look. They even provided the number on the 5 since it was the old slab and I couldn't read it. It may take longer if they don't have the book on site but they do respond. I didn't win them as they both went over 11k. That appears to be about 3k over what the GPA has on them maybe? At least with the research I did. If that is the case, then maybe shill bidding or someone has the money and the drive much more than myself. These are the first of this high grade I've seen in awhile so demand could be higher.
  2. Been working on my Hulk run for a very long time from 1962 to 2017. I felt that when Banner was killed and Amadeus Cho took over for that year or so was the right time to stop. Although I think I should have stopped after the WWH storyline that I very much enjoyed. I just got turned off with the character directions and the multiple variant covers. Completing the collection is still ongoing as I attempt to get nice copies up to 2017 that include promos, DVD inserts, Legends figures, and even the two that came with the Hulk Silly Putty. If I were to collect another character it would be Daredevil and the Punisher.
  3. I've been wanting to send these for grading but not sure if they would give it a blue or green grade. The holes are made by the manufacturer so I think it would be a blue. I did contact CGC to ask but I couldn't get an answer from them on it. These are hard to get in a decent grade since they come packaged with a figure where I only want the magazine. May have to just send one and find out for myself.
  4. This is on my need list looking for a 9.8. At the same time. I wouldn't purchase this one. Possibly a raw to submit IF it was 9.8 worthy.
  5. Lol. Yeah. It was more of the impression of just a comic with the Hulk in it but I get the very valid point.
  6. For me. My submissions are for my own collection. Anything I put on auction is because I replaced it with a higher grade I purchased or I had submitted for grading. I just put 19.99 with free priority mail shipping. Some go for 19.99, some go for a few dollars more and some don't go at all. Those that don't go at all I'll put on eBay one more time. After that, I realize not everyone wants an Incredible Hulk's: Enigma Force number 3 in a 9.6 and I'll take them to my LCS to see if they'll give me a few bucks. If not, it goes to the book trading store unslabbed. And I hope some young kid gets it, reads it, and becomes a fan of the Hulk. Granted. I don't think an Incredible Hulk's: Enigma Force number 3 in a 9.8 would go for a 19.99. Throwing money away? Sure. But that's me as a collector and not a dealer or eBay seller.
  7. When I was a kid, I loved the Incredible Hulk TV show. I was visiting my grandfather in Asbury Park, NJ in 1978 and I'll never forget him coming in the house in his police uniform and he gave me this comic. The book itself was published in 1975 so I'm not sure if he went to a comic shop to get it or someone had it. As you can tell. I might have read through it a few times. But I kept it cause he died very soon after. I decided to send it to CGC about 10 years ago just to keep it a little more protected and see what a 6 year old could do to a comic. At least back then I knew not to write my name or try to add some more color to it.
  8. Ok. Sent 16 modern, no pre-screen, no pressing. Came in yesterday. These are all for my personal collection. I really wasn't expecting them for at least the turn of the year. When I got the notice I thought they arrived damaged and CGC was sending them back. I'm happy with the quickest turn around I've ever seen by them. So thank you.
  9. Newer CGC case. 10 business day return policy. PayPal and Venmo accepted. Hopefully one you price variant collectors will need this one. Asking $200 or best offer. I know these variants are rare and hard to get a gauge on so I'm totally cool with negotiating.
  10. Remove. No longer for sale. Asking 79.99. shipping included priority mail. Returns up to 10 days upon receipt. Accept Paypal payment. Please message here any questions. Thank you
  11. Asking 79.99. Shipping is priority mail. Returns accepted in 10 days from receipt
  12. The cover art was very nice during the Planet Hulk storyline
  13. Was almost going to put this one myself. I like the blue
  14. "Love " I would say is not the description of the cover but more of the intensity of it for a very serious topic. This cover was approved by the CCA in 1984.
  15. Hulk 379 is a great cover. The beginning of the professor Hulk which is one of my favorite versions. I was able to get this very talented high school kid to paint this 20 years ago. It's about twice the size of the cover.
