  1. Why are retailers even allowed to submit books that have never gone onsale anywhere? When did that become a thing, just taking them off the printer and straight to CGC? Really defeats the whole purpose.
  2. Proud Semi-noob! What are these pond trout you speak of? I have followers?
  3. That one was, at least, published that way with the original staples by DC. This comic literally came out years ago and they're adding a cover now.
  4. Like I said before, I don't know the mechanics of how they were graded or were but they WERE there graded and CGC had a booth, too, and nobody told them to take them down or not make a show of it or anything. On the contrary, CGC seemed to be liking the attention, too.
  5. I'm looking at a picture, dude. This is a screenshot from a youtube video and, I'm not sure exactly how it happened or how these got graded but people were showing off this 9.9. I was at the show. I saw this myself. The only reason I'm using the youtube screenshot is because I didn't think I'd ever need evidence of what they were clearly using as marketing at their booth.
  6. This really is ridiculous. There's NO WAY this thing should have ever qualified for a blue label. It's like a custom toy that they paint a few of at a show as a giveaway. Leaving aside the fact that they were giving shortboxes of these away to influencers, CGC gave out 9.9s and at least one 10 at the show for a comic with four staples! Before, that got you knocked down to at least 7.0. CGC needs to invalidate these grades, period. P.S. Please don't zwissler my post, admins/mods. This is SUPPOSED to be where we're allowed to talk about this travesty.
  7. It's up to 203 days for a simple press and grade. It's beyond ridiculous. The company should NOT add private signings while they're so far behind on basic grading. If you submitted for a simple press and grade today, you'd be waiting half a year to get it back.
