  1. Moving a few things around today. Figured I'd take a pic while I'm at it. Don't get to look at these all that often
  2. I've been debated whether I want to get this one. This book came out about a month or so after I had "given up" on comics and was planning on selling my entire collection. It was the book that made me stop to reconsider whether I was getting out at the wrong time and for wrong reasons. Either way, I view this book as a milestone in my life where I put comics on hiatus for the next 30+ years.
  3. Yeah, this thread certainly has more legs than the movie itself.
  4. It all differs depending on era. From a collecting perspective, I don't think it makes a difference between the two for the older stuff (BA and older). As you get more towards the modern stuff, I think the Batman title has the better storylines and collector interest.
  5. No, it doesn't compare to any of the SS Exclusives or similar ilk, but for $85 shipped, she's worth every cent. Looks much more appropriate displayed next to my copy of BA #12 than the pricier Arkham City version I have in place right now anyway.
  6. Satana has arrived! Special thanks to bounty_coder for the VT #2.
  7. Just had a thought. Eleckra's first appearance was actually on the cover of Comics Journal #58. Time to sell. ?
  8. I am. I will admit that I really like this book. It has a cool cover and Moon Knight was an entertaining character that reminded us of what Batman should have been (I'm talking about the version of Batman back in the late '70s and early '80s). I had a hi-grade copy back in the day and was hoping to one day get another one. That said, NO WAY in hell would I ever pay that much for it. Sorry to the hardcore MK fans, but I just don't see appeal here. MK is essentially a failed character whose never been able hold onto a series by himself. If it took turning him into a schizophrenic nutjob just to make things interesting, that should tell you something.
  9. Congrats to all you guys. All of you. Great haul.
  10. On my short list of magazines I gotta get. Love that Satanna first appearance.
  11. Steppenwolf? You gotta be kidding me. Guess I picked a bad time to chase the Kirby run on this title. No way in hell I'm paying the crazy, speculative prices for what I see a minor character in the New Gods realm. What's next? Glorious Godfried or Granny Goodness if they show up in the next film? Totally insane. Especially if Steppenwolf's first appearance becomes a bigger key than Orion's.
  12. Love that cover. I've deliberately stayed away from GA books since returning to the hobby for fear of getting carried away, but of late I've been eyeing a few books.
  13. I'm astounded Harley and Moon Knight 1st appearances still climb even at it current lofty heights.
  14. I agree with a lot of the above regarding Lois, but I wonder if the extended version would shed a little more attention as to her role in this movie beside just being the damsel in distress. The Flash dream sequence specifically mentioned "Lois is the key" which implies the Injustice store line.
  15. This is probably the best 7.0 on the planet. Saying this is probably not hyperbole. Thanks Barton! It does not disappoint in hand either. Most of the book is NM. Just some scrapes on the spine keep it from going into orbit. In fact thanks to everyone for the nice compliments - it is fun to own a book like this I'm more blow away with the white pages more so than the grade. Incredible book. Congrats.
  16. I never (or rarely) ever catch a book just before it gets hot. Anyway, love Harley.
  17. Ignore Harley in the pic. I consider everything else BA.
  18. I think that's Snyder's doing more so than DC/Warner. Say what you will about him, but he's a fanboy at heart (to a fault sometimes).
