  1. A nice one with Gambit & Rogue from Uncanny X-Men #348. Jow Madureira pencils & Tim Townsend inks. $8500, first gets it.
  2. Let's face it, not everything can be historic. Nothing earth-shattering here, but some cool Star Wars art, Marvel art, Indie art, some covers, and a couple of first appearance pieces. Mention you saw this on CGC and I'll knock 15% off. https://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=194878 Thanks! - Keith
  3. I'll second this. It's a quiet page, even though it is necessary at this point because of the storyline. Plus, it's a lot of Winter.
  4. Something for every budget. Listings are up on CAF - here is the link: https://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=194878 These are a couple of the items up for sale: Star Wars Age of Rebellion Boba Fett #1 Cover Original Art by Terry and Rachel Dodson Promethea #1 Cover Preliminary Original Art - Alex Ross - America's Best Comics X-Men #134 p. 17 Original Art - First Appearance of Quentin Quire / Kid Omega Thanks!
  5. That run is regularly panned. That finger - wow.
  6. I've used a Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB Flatbed Scanner for close to a decade with GiMP as the scanning program. I should probably upgrade, but it keeps trucking along.
  7. I love ComicartTracker. The overnight e-mail is probably the first e-mail I read in the morning!
  8. A day late, but here's the back cover to #3 and a page from #6. Cooke was a genius and a really nice guy to boot.
  9. Hey all - I've got a local buddy who is retiring and put a bunch of his Marvel late Silver/Early Bronze Marvel OA up on Heritage. He doesn't part with a lot of OA, so I told him I'd pop them up here. 10. I love Todd Klein's work. He was still hand-lettering into the early 2000s on some of the America's Best Comics series (they transitioned to digital about midway), giving them an extra bit of charm.
  11. Any one have any OA from this set of short stories?
  12. Wai is great and Muscle Man is remarkable as well. I ready for my kids to hit a Regular Show phase.
  13. Delete this if it's not allowed on the boards; making a head's up on behalf of the artist. The pages from issue #1 sold out pretty quickly and if you're looking for anything from issue #2, you can get the price list from Ario at arioanindito@gmail.com .
  14. I've been nabbing copies of Web of Spider-man #114 for that first Ben Reilly cameo...
  15. If you've got any you're looking to sell/trade, drop me a pm or e-mail at veronesepk@gmail.com.
  16. I echo the sexual stuff too. I almost put that in the original post, but figured it would ruffle too many feathers. I'm not sure I've had any in the past, but it wouldn't fly on the walls.
  17. Gun heavy art. I've had art with prominent, realistic guns (i.e., not Liefeld guns) on the walls a couple of times and it killed the mood of the room. Sold or traded all of them over time.
  18. Alright, here's a different direction, some vertical dps's. The Blue Marvel was not intended to be a DPS, Parsons blew up Broome's digital pencils (the cover to issue one exists as two pieces - Parons' inks over digital bluelines, with Broome still in possession of the penciled cover. A lot of the other pages of issue #1 are pencils and inks together.) to ink it. The Joe Mad Uncanny X-Men DPS features that crazy looking "feral" Wolverine, whose personality creeped in after his adamantium was removed.

I don't speak up often in this forum, but I want to echo this sentiment. I'm a millennial, but heck, I've been doing this for two decades. Those types of jokes do not fly with myself and 95%+ of our generation. These tactics ACTIVELY work to make our hobby smaller and more insular.
  20. It was really great - I really enjoy the hobby more now. I know I missed out on some stuff, but I also didn't trade/sell some stuff I might have as well.
