  1. John, you are truly a comic nerd and a wierdo comic collector fanatic. Congrats!
  2. Shamolee! Some bimbo insufficiently_thoughtful_person bid over $1600 for it! What an empty coconut headed fool. Dang that Matt made out like a bandit. Run the math. He paid around $350 for it, pressed it for a few cents, paid new grading fees with shipping back and forth ($18), then some ebay fees ($25??). Subtract that from $1600 and shoowee! Think I'm gonna go buy one of them pressin' machines and do likewise. http://cgi.ebay.com/Daredevil-131-CGC-9-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  3. Man that will be one good flip. A 9.6 gets about 200 greenies and the 9.8 may bring five times that.
  4. That Dardevil 131 looks like a steam roller sailed back and forth over it. Anybody care to wager on what it was before it was cracked out of the slab? I say 50 bucks it was an 8.5.
  5. If you have any cgc comics, you may kindly donate them to me. They will be handled with care.
  6. I still insist that albedo sounds like a hairy wang not a comic book character!
  7. I just don't care much for this comic. I'd rather have a Hulky 181 in 9.4 then an Albedo 2 anytime. By the way, the name is weird as all get out. It reminds me of a hulkin' phallic.
  8. Yeeouch! Right smak dab in the lightsaber!
  9. Foolkiller, I just hope that I played some small role in turning you from the darkside of the force. DOUG, EXTEND YOUR LIGHTSABER! THE FORCE IS WITH YOU! AN' GET SOME FLOPPY SAGGIES WILL YA ALREADY!!!!!!!!
  10. I can't tell you what I have done to a comic that was real bad but I can certainly tell you what I think some of these eBay misfit sellers have done to comics they have sent to me.... I think some of them sat on them, swatted frikken' flies with them, then spat on them and frikken' stuffed the pieces of [#@$%!!!] in a flimsy [#@$%!!!] mail flyer and then busted my [#@$%!!!] when I complained sayin' that I don't know how to grade!
  11. This subject is some scary stuff. I see it as a bunch of phony advertising the same kind of phony advertising we get bombarded with day after day year after year. I know that when I read on Paypal that we have "buyer protection" I think "Ahh, if I use this I'm 100% covered." I guess what I'm getting at is that you really can't take anything at face value because the people/business who write these advertisements have a conflict of interest. In the end, I feel for you. I feel just as goosed! Will somebody get Paypal's stinken' thumb out of my a#$!!
