  1. Are you just speculating here or you know this for a fact?
  2. Whenever you buy from Cadence, there's often a wait for the artist to ship the artwork to them, so I'm pretty sure they have it already.
  3. I ordered and received artwork about a month ago from them. I've ordered from them regularly and have had no issues, and I'm an international customer. Regarding their radio silence during cons: This I haven't experienced from Cadence but I have from other reps. Whatever's happened, I doubt it's due to their timeliness (or lack of) in shipping artwork, this seems way more serious.
  4. Buying 'experiences' isn't anything new. Travel became a fav pastime for the young ever since the advent of low cost air travel. We're talking 20+ years now. Individuals really need that 'collecting gene' to even remotely be into collectibles. No one in my other half's family have it and they're all considerably older than I am. What's even more depressing is that whenever I go to a western comic mart (a place where one can buy Marvel or DC back issues) the average ages looks to be about 60. The younger generation seems not to be interested. Comic reading, and by extension, Original Comic art collecting, is an aging hobby.
  5. Not trying to prove you wrong as there's definitely an element of truth to what you're saying. Yet. there's been a bunch of new characters in the previous Batman run (2020): Punchline, Ghost-Maker, Clownhunter, and Miracle Molly to name a few. 3 of these have had their own limited series so I would decline to label them as 'not important' Marvel definitely has had less yet they seem to be counteracting with a new character named 'Hallow's Eve' that they seem to be pushing. I take it you don't read modern comics?
  6. That ALF cover where Alf is doing questionable things to a seal....
  7. I've bought a Tradd Moore Ghost Rider Page at auction. Nice page, with a great example of Tradd's illusrative style, but no Ghost Rider (in person). I bought it for 10x what Felix sold it for. I intend to hold onto it I'm yet pretty confident I can still make a profit if I decide to sell.
  8. I've unfortunately now been priced out of Tradd's work but felt these pieces were very well priced regardless. I don't understand why some collectors are so salty. Art collectors collect art. Congrats to Tradd and to @Nexus for a record breaking sellout drop.
  9. I'd imagine the new owner will hold onto it for a while after paying that much for it (or at least....they should!)
  10. Very popular character coupled with a very popular artist.
  11. I actually just contacted the artist directly and they responded in a timely manner. Inky Knuckles has a great roster of artists. I really hope they don't shoot themselves in the foot with the way they handle inquires.
  12. Multiple artists, and I get the same treatment. Okay, looks like it's not just my experience! Not sure whether to be happy or sad about that!
  13. I've bought from Inky Knuckles before, and the transaction/delivery proceeded smoothly with no issues.... BUT, I've also inquired about art from his artists that isn't on his site and have straight up received no response, even after a nudge nudge email to say I'm waiting for a response. This has happened a few times now which leads me to believe that maybe no one is monitoring the inquiry emails or perhaps the lack of response *is* the response (to mean, sorry but no). Has anyone else had any luck with inquiries with Inky Knuckles?
  14. True, no offering is ever truly 100% 'fair'. Someone will always have an edge over others. But any service stating as such is at least my making an effort to reduce the scalpers. You'll have more of a chance than if they weren't.
