1st weekend multiplier for the top movie the week prior to X-mas is 4x for each of the past 7 years (except for TLJ which was 3x).  US multiple probably closer to 4x than 3x- so $235MM at 3.5x. China will finish w/ $265MM.  Other int'l on track for around $350MM after $70MM weekend (ex China) and still to open in markets that DCEU films average $40MM+.  $800MM comfortably, $850MM possible.

Opening weekend, China BO & WW BO total look eerily similar to another CB movie>VENOM :p

    Good call on that.  (thumbsu

I pretty much agree with your assertions too by the way.  Saw it late last night to about a half full theater (or half empty, depending on how you view things in life lol). Lots of people laughing when they weren't supposed to, and not laughing when they were.  I will also add that when neither of your leads can act for spit and have absolutely ZERO chemistr together, and when your "hero" is way too overpowered, thus eliminating any and all stakes and tension (I had this problem with Wonder Woman too, and a couple marvel movies) all you really can do at that point is have garish, cartoony CGI and repetitive fight scenes that all lead to nothing.  I actually liked Justice League better.

2.0 out of 5.0 for me

    So...Matrix sequel level quality?

Yeah...  I will pre screen next time I think, it should cut down on any surprises.  I am still new to this.  I have only sent in 6 books so far.  A lot of my other books don't need pressing too, so that's a plus.

So, pressing is a waste of cash?

Did you get any 9.8s? :baiting:

Just take my word for it there are no creases in the cover,  I think I got low balled fine.  It is what it it is,  I think i get the slabbed book back tomorrow,  I am excited to see it after pressing and want to see what difference it made.  Its the first book i sent in.  I will post pics and you can decide for yourself.  If i see damage from pressing i will say and if improvement i will say too.  Half of the people here have FF 52 better than mine, its not a big deal.

Obviously, you think your CGC8 FF52, deserves a higher grade.

    Call CGC and complain.:blahblah:

It' definitely a $5K comic :wishluck:

And its an.... 8,  I guess pressing just couldn't overcome the rack rash on it.  I need to get the book back to see if pressing made any difference at all, its shipped now.

    What were you expecting...CGC9.2?

    If you're not satisfied, crack>press>resubmit:baiting:

I have seen many 9.8's of this book without this defect, that looked flawless. CGC has only given 2 9.9's to SA ASM'S and both copies (19,73) deserved every bit of the grade. I do not believe it would be very easy to get a 9.9 on a 33 as there are so MANY graded copies out there and 10X that many in the raw.

I would not waste your money on grader notes, as I would wager that there aren't any as typical with most 9.8's. The staples are the bigger issue on it , might post the front cover :P , one of my favorites.

Congrats on such a beautiful copy!

    Good catch, Hawkeye!:golfclap:
