Good call on that.
I pretty much agree with your assertions too by the way. Saw it late last night to about a half full theater (or half empty, depending on how you view things in life lol). Lots of people laughing when they weren't supposed to, and not laughing when they were. I will also add that when neither of your leads can act for spit and have absolutely ZERO chemistr together, and when your "hero" is way too overpowered, thus eliminating any and all stakes and tension (I had this problem with Wonder Woman too, and a couple marvel movies) all you really can do at that point is have garish, cartoony CGI and repetitive fight scenes that all lead to nothing. I actually liked Justice League better.
2.0 out of 5.0 for me

So...Matrix sequel level quality?

Beautiful...I don't mind the goofy sticker.

I love Iron Man as much as anyone, but it'll never be as good as The Dark Knight.
The first IM movie had a greater impact/influence on Ryan Coogler, director of BP.
And here we are, 10 years later and hopefully BP will be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.

Will ‘Black Panther’ earn more Oscar nominations than ‘The Dark Knight’?

Yes.
Who cares about The Dark Knight in 2018.
More people talk about another Superhero flick from ten years ago.

So, what's the consensus from the photos? CT or ink drop from the printing process???
Thanks in advance.
Beautiful book.
Sadly, my vote is colour touch.

Yeah... I will pre screen next time I think, it should cut down on any surprises. I am still new to this. I have only sent in 6 books so far. A lot of my other books don't need pressing too, so that's a plus.
So, pressing is a waste of cash?
Did you get any 9.8s?

Just take my word for it there are no creases in the cover, I think I got low balled fine. It is what it it is, I think i get the slabbed book back tomorrow, I am excited to see it after pressing and want to see what difference it made. Its the first book i sent in. I will post pics and you can decide for yourself. If i see damage from pressing i will say and if improvement i will say too. Half of the people here have FF 52 better than mine, its not a big deal.
Obviously, you think your CGC8 FF52, deserves a higher grade.
Call CGC and complain.
It' definitely a $5K comic

I have seen many 9.8's of this book without this defect, that looked flawless. CGC has only given 2 9.9's to SA ASM'S and both copies (19,73) deserved every bit of the grade. I do not believe it would be very easy to get a 9.9 on a 33 as there are so MANY graded copies out there and 10X that many in the raw.
I would not waste your money on grader notes, as I would wager that there aren't any as typical with most 9.8's. The staples are the bigger issue on it , might post the front cover :P , one of my favorites.
Congrats on such a beautiful copy!
Good catch, Hawkeye!

8.5
Because of multiple spine stress (near bar code), creases on lower right front cover and lower left back cover.
Wear on top left and bottom left corner front cover.

Not sure what it’s from, but it shouldn’t be a 9.8 with that large a flaw. Did you submit the book yourself?
I submitted the book back in 2003.
I really don't want to pay for the Grader's Notes (I'm cheap!), but if the only flaw is the indentation > 9.9

I bought this copy back in 1981 for a whopping $15.00 , the book guided $5.25 in the Overstreet that year . The thing I remember most is the dealer selling it to me said it was mint......yeah right.
I had it slabbed in the early 2000s it came back 9.2 WP not mint like the comic dealer told me but for what I paid how could I complain.
