  1. I always though this was a cool cover. The Thing looks neat! Some wear around the spine but nice colors.
  2. Here's my 124. Not all that pretty, but it's mine.
  3. Scanned a few more last night. Grabbed this from Superworld Ted on the cheap. Always wanted a copy of this one even though my focus was from 110 up From the "Rosenthal" collection...
  4. Here's my #4. Bought for $5 like 20 years ago. It was much loved then. It's an odd one because there's an extra page printed in the middle:
  5. The art was the best part of that but I dug those stories too. I also had been reading BP's series where he lost his powers so I was curious to see what happened next.
  6. Well, yes and no. DD moved to San Fran in #87 and stayed there for a few years (#109). The comic didn't go bi-monthly until #148, so that's almost 5 years earlier. Also, while I could agree that DD is best when he's protecting Hell's Kitchen that really kind of limits him as a character to one area of NYC which is pretty small. Not to mention that it's not what it was then. It's not all "grim & gritty" and is actually kinda nice. So it's ok to change it up every now and then. The only thing constant is change, so we know he'll be back and then we'll have cause to celebrate! Last time he left he had the Black Panther look out for HK. Maybe this time the current Might Avengers can do it. Maybe Elektra will be around, I dunno...
  7. Very cool! Everett was the man! Another cover that I want a copy of someday is Men's Adventures #22. It's been posted here a few times and I'll find one eventually.
  8. Kind of, but DD spent time in San Fran in the past. That was back when he was hanging with the Black Widow. So it's not like this is out of character. Waid has done so many great issues in this volume he's built up enough stock for readers to trust him. David Mack wrote an arc, then Quesada wrote an issue, and then Mack came in to write the Wake Up story. He also did the Echo story around 51-55. David Ross also filled in an issue on the Winslade arc, which I dug. This website is the best for DD info: http://www.manwithoutfear.com/daredevil-cover-gallery-volume-2-issues-1-25.cgi
  9. I really liked the Kevin Smith story. Bendis told one hell of a killer long-form tale. Bru's was good, but Diggle just took it too far. He wrote himself into a corner and that Redemption story that bridged the gap after the last run to the current was god awful. Now Waid's run has been nothing short of fantastic. The art in the first few issues was phenominal, and has been above par ever since. David Mack's 2 stories get overlooked before and during Bendis' run, and both were good if you like his stuff. It's very deep and introspective and not the norm when it comes to his art style. The 1 arc nobody remembers was the Gale / Winslade one that came directly before Bendis that to my knowledge is the only arc NOT to be reprinted yet and was damn good. I highly recommend it. I look forward to where Waid is taking DD, which is back to San Fran I guess. And there's supposed to be an on-line thing to bridge the gap that I hope they put in print.
  10. I have never seen any other issues of this, but I've seen a handful of copies including mine. Took a bit to track down but was worth it! Well done.
  11. Interior page maybe? Still a really sharp copy. Thanks! telerites - Awesome copy! As far as I can tell that's Cole 1st cover!
  12. Thanks! That was a Tomorrow's Treasure's pickup. It said there was a tear seal on it, but I couldn't find it.
  13. From 1-310? Why stop there? That's one lofty goal! GOOD LUCK! (thumbs u
  14. DD #38 was one of the first early DD books I ever bought. I fell in love with that Colan cover. My LCS actually had a small number of back issues then (mid 90's) and I got it pretty cheap. How many do you need? Are you looking for all of them in high grade or slabbed or something? Do you have other early DD appearrances like FF #73 (which this story is continued in) or ASM #16? I know I have a few other DD's that aren't boxed away. I'll get to scanning them eventually.
  15. Fantastic stuff!!! My only contribution to this would be the recent Daredevil and Silver Streak archive reprints. Oh, I also have the Bowen Designs statue too!
  16. Thanks Tom! I snacced a bunch of GA last night, but I managed to get these done first!
