As a follow up to the commissions I paid Ale for that he lied about to me over and over again... - Ale's wife send me a piece of "consolation" art (after lying just once about shipping it). I sold it to get most of my money back from this failed commission. If you get ripped off buying art commissions from Ale Garza, please don't say you weren't warned.

Ale Garza still owes me a commission or a refund. I would prefer a refund because constantly being lied to sucks. I wrote "mike" about this 10 days ago and received no response at all. Here's what I sent:

I've been talking to him directly on Facebook for about 3 years now. I'm still waiting on my commission. Still nothing. I'm about to email Mike. Thanks for posting this. Terry

I've been waiting well over a year for a paid for Ale Garza commission. I asked him for a refund about 5 months ago and he said he doesn't do refunds. I told him at one point I didn't want the commission any more and he has been holding my money for a year, why not refund me? And he still insisted he doesn't do refunds. I asked him if he would do my commission for SDCC and I'll have a friend pick it up. He said "sure" and my friend went to get it and he didn't have it. I emailed him afterwards and he said he would get right to it - but that has been how long now? I'm out $300 - which is more than I typically pay for artists commissions - but he kinda talked me in to spending more for something nice. I doubt I'll ever see this art or my money. Terry

I'm a HUGE Mad, AE Newman, Kurtzman, Davis, Aragones, Martin FAN! I love Mad. Grew up with them in the 60's and 70's. Dropped them in the 80s. I have lots of Mad Comics and I've sold lots of Mad Comics over the years too. I have AE Newman stuff like Christmas ornaments, Bobble heads, statues, 3-D Cards and all kinds of stuff. I have the Mad mag from the month I was born in Oct 1963 sitting right here. Terry
