Hi All!!
Looking for thoughts on this VoH #35 - I bought this because it was / is my favorite pre code horror cover. Look how mad that guy is!! Ha!
This is also kind of a learning experience for me - I have an idea of what it might be, and want to see if Im close to consensus. Im new to graded comics so trying to figure it all out!
The front presents nicely, Back has issues. Pice on top, and rip running through the binoculars.
Also, the bottom staple is detached. Thank you so much!

If you ever want to make Don Rosa lose it at a convention, ask him to sign a copy of this issue.
I think I need to hear the backstory behind this .

For some reason, the Gerber Guides scarcity index was a little higher than it was for other contemporary Duck books, and it's certainly tough in grade. My copy would probably fall in the 6.0-6.5 range.
I would be thrilled with a copy that presents this nicely!!! Really beautiful example you have!!

Thank you all so much for the feedback - This all makes sense, especially considering the target audience at the time.
Ill keep my eyes out for a good presenting copy! I just love this cover too much!!!

Hi All,
This is something I have wondered for a while - as I have been looking for a nice copy of this issue and haven't come across one.
I love the cover for Donald Duck 26. I don't buy many books, so when I do, I try for a CGC 7 or better quality wise. However, this book really never shows up in that grade or higher.
Why is that? Is this just a not heavily collected series, so people arent having them graded? Are they just hard to find in higher grades because they were marketed to smaller kids?
Just looking for a little education on the Dell Duck books
Thank you!

Hi All
Long time lurker, but never really felt like I had a whole lot to contribute! However recently after a 20 year + hiatus, the comic bug has sort of re-bitten me. I still read comics, I just haven't collected in years, having sold my collection a long time ago, with the exception of a few sentimental issues I held onto. Generally my passion switched over to vintage toy lines, mostly Star Wars. However I am kind of tired of that and thought comics would be fun again.
I mostly collect comics with Halloween themed covers. An odd focus, I know - But Im enjoying it .
Thats kind of the long and short of it. Excited to join up and can't wait to learn.

PGM The Vault of Horror #35
in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?

Thank you all so much. I would be thrilled with a 2.5!
now the million dollar question, is this worth getting graded? I have never sent a book in, and in say, 2.5 does the value of this book warrant the costs associated with grading?
