I am just about ready to start on the comic book collection from my brother's estate. Based on the number of long boxes I estimate that I have between 26,000 - 30,000. My first priority is to replace the "Old" long boxes with the short ones. Does anyone have a recommendation for where I should buy the short boxes and perhaps other supplies as I go along. I recently inherited approximately 300,000 comics. I need to create an inventory so I know what I have before I consider selling the collection or individual comics. Does anyone have a suggestion for user-friendly software that interfaces with a barcode scanner? I also inherited collectible toys, sports cards, coins & currency. If you know of an inventory software that I could use for all the collections that would be awesome, but the comic collection is my primary interest.
